    And somehow you feel the need to respond to me. Look, i already am pissed today because a friend of mine is in a coma since this weekend. So just stop risking me to get really mad, ok? And no, i don't joke about that kind of stuff.

    If my friend dies, he knows if it was from zombies or a shot/axe. This means, every player in sight will die. I play like a hero, but if they start shooting, i KoS, especially if they already killed my mate.

    Staying with my caves! Although, what we probably would need too, are mountains. Not just some hills, but real mountains. Look at Skyrim for example, this type of mountains. Maybe a little town somewhere hidden, not showing up on the map, because it became a ghost town before the epidemic started. Canyons anybody? Keep the ideas coming guys.

I would love to though, because i 1.) want to improve in my english speaking and get rid of that german accent and 2.) i don't like the british english that much. Don't get me wrong, it sounds awesome, but i rather learn the easier to understand language. Although, maybe later, i want to learn the british english too :P

    All those bandits saying no -.- This IS a good idea, no matter what the other guys say. BUT, and thats the big but, don't make it a public message, but more like a private message like when you have hunger. This wouldn't effect the killer, because as long as there is no global chat he can't give away his killers name to all players on the server. It would be a pain to actually tell everybody, unless there is a forum where all players are registered and active. And it isn't to blame the bandits, it is to blame the cheaters. How can you determine a name on a server? A) he tells you, B) you check him after he is dead. C) dunno if there is a third method Means, if a cheater is there, it is unlikely that he will be killed, so it is up to impossible to know who the cheater is. Also, why not make it like the Titanfall devs? If there is a cheater in the game, and they know for sure that he cheats, he isn't able to connect to normal servers any more. He will only be able to join servers with other cheaters. This isn't a bad idea. They can continue cheating and play like they want, but the majority of the servers is clean of them.

    Ok, i just came up with an idea on another topic. Like i said there, it would be a nice little feature if you could check if a player was hostile towards others or not. A good example for that would be Sword Art Online (if somebody knows that anime). Players have cursors above their head (similar to Sims cursors). They are green at first, but if they hurt or kill another player, it will change to orange. So i know that this would be extremely stupid in DayZ, because it would make sneaking around kinda hard, because the cursors would be visible all the time. The idea here is, that the player mumbles to himself if he sees a player that killed at least 5 other survivors: "I don't know if I should trust that person." This message will be triggered in a 30 metre radius with direct sight. It appears as a message similar to the hunger notifications. It is just a little idea I had, so feel free to argue about that. In my eyes it would prevent some players from KoS/ killing players at all. It would be harder for them to survive. There is just one exception for this: IF the humanity comes back (without skin changes), it should be like in the mod. Killing bandits wouldn't give that message, where killing a hero for example would instantly trigger it.

    How stupid can all of you guys be? I survived in the mod for 6 months, countless shootouts and stuff. L2p the newb says, that started DayZ most likely with the SA xD.

  13. Damn, why on monday? I would have gotten there with some friends and saved your gear. Shot you, you come back, get your gear and move on. If nothing works, that probably would be the best idea. But i can only play DayZ on weekends. :(

    Ok mods, please lock this thread and move it to the graveyard. Too much people giving non constructive criticism. Instead of them giving some constructive feedback, they just say no without any VALID argument. They could try to mess around with the idea, change it a bit, whatever, but instead, they whine that it would be unfair because they want to play the cowardish playstyle and KoS.

    I know that all bandits say no to this idea. Thats why I am not asking them. I am asking the survivors and heroes out there, not the bandits.

    Thats a good question. But as you said, a hero kills bandits. That means we need the humanity system to make a difference between a bandit and a hero. If a hero shoots players with less than the initial starting humanity, it doesn't count towards the innocent kills.

    Exactly players like you are the ones that fear death the most. You can shoot me thousands of times, i actually don't give a damn. I prefer to stay true to my roots, rather then becoming a noballer and shoot on sight xD.

    Then why not make it hidable. Like, with a really rare item you can use you can hide that status and are invisible for a few days. (meaning the your status is hid and nobody can see it) I know what you mean about being obvios, but I really would like that feature. A hero (he mumbles: "Seems like i can trust this person") can shoot you on sight, where a bandit where he thinks that he can't trust him can aid him.

    Well, the first 5 kills for the bandit won't trigger that message. And you can find a hero that shoots you too. Being paranoid is part of this game. Don't trust anybody except your friends, but also give them a chance to show they are friendly.

    Idc for PS4 version of DayZ. Let the kids destroy themselves. PC will stay a bit more mature than PS4/xBone, even if DayZ comes to consoles.

    What we could need would be some identification of players. SAO (Sword Art Online) for example has cursors above the players heads. If they didn't harm other players, the cursor stays green, but if they harm them, it becomes orange. I know that this wouldn't be clever in this game, because it would give away positions and do other stupid stuff. What i thought of would be some kind of system like the hunger one. If you see another player that killed, lets say, 5 survivors already, your character mumbles to himself: "I don't know if i should trust that guy." This message only appears if you have direct sight to this guy in a radius of around 30 metres or so.

    Run right into them. If they shoot, they kill themselves. I would have laughed so hard if some heroes crossed your path and would have moawed them down xD.

    If that ever happens to me, i will backstab them. 2 freshspawns saved, 2 wannabe bandits dead. I probably would die myself, because i would give the freshspawns that guys gear, but it probably would be worth the try.

    Most bandits just do that stuff. People get killed, they don't have fun, they become the same and ruin the fun for others. I play as hero, because i want to kill those bandits and bring them to justice.
