Would like to see weapons randomly jamming if they are not kept in good condition, meaning you need a weapon cleaning kit and have to use it. The longer you keep hold of a weapon the more chance it has of mis-firing or not firing at all. If you drop your weapon & replace it with another then the "new weapon" would take on the characteristics of the old one, that would save people discarding one (say 1911) for another one of the same. It would add another touch of realism, something which we all look for in this game. Also having plastic bags & elastic bands spawn so that they can be used to cover the barrel of a rifle to stop water/dirt ingress into the barrel.

I have been suffering crashes since .45 In-game crashes are very random. I can be playing anything from 5 minutes to 3+ hours, generally the screen will go black and crash back to desktop with the sound still audible. I have to start task manager to kill dayz and then I'm able to restart the game and rejoin the same server. All drivers are up to date and minimal background tasks are running.

For me its an FNX but at the mo I have a 1911. Its louder than the FNX and for me is slightly less accurate but it'll do for now.

I have the same issue, 50% drop in frame rate. Recording to another drive makes no difference for me. I play off of a 5700rpm drive and record to a 5900rpm drive. I do know that a lot of people knock most settings back to normal and turn off AA for recording.

I have 2 logins on my pc, I play from my steam account on my login and my son in law plays via his steam account on the other login. Only issue I have and it's no biggie is that I have to log back into my steam after he has been on. No other issues at all.

I play alone, I have no friends! I wander the map, north, south, east and west. I help if I see someone who needs it (not often) and generally I get KoS'd by players who are cowards as I nearly always get shot in the back. I play on one of 3 servers and I always log off in remote little hamlets. I enjoy my beans and tac, burp when I drink to much of the fizzy cans, am yet to master hunting or making fires and usually end up tripping over my own 2 left feet only to get up off of the ground being pummeled by zombies. That's how I roll, downhill with legs and arms flailing.

In-game name = Ting Tong.

Never seen one, mag or gun and I have tramped up and down the map countless times. I did find a P1 and 2 clips today tho and that was a first for me.

Suicide button? Lol! Over 160 hours in game and being in all sorts of dire straights suicide is not the way to go out, not my way anyway. It's about survival, the game is all about survival not just giving up cause at that moment in time you want out. You keep going, broken legs, food poisoning, bleeding profusely. Never give up.

Max CPU temp is 65 under full load, GPU 60 and board about 35. A long way off from overheating.

Most of the time when I exit the game it crashes back to steam homepage (I start from there opposed to desktop icon) I have no mouse, ctrl/alt/del open task manager, Dayz not responding, kill it, mouse comes back then restart game. I also have the same issue when the game crashes during play. Sounds are still going and I have to go through the same sequence to get back into game.

I am super paranoid and I get very attached to my gear, I play alone and leave care packages. So if you find a pistol with ammo, a couple of open tins and a drink in one place and your on Euro servers it could be from me. I try to stay stealthy, if I get shot at I go on the offensive and try to hunt them down (not successfully) Today near the lumber mill 2 Z's were chasing a bambi, I took out the Z's, gave the lad some food and a tin of pop and he proceeded to try and duke it out, needless to say I shot him. Don't think I'll be having a face to face with anyone soon, that may be anti-social but that's how I like playing. If I die I don't mourn the loss of gear for to long but I look forward to hearing up again.

Maybe they are far to busy perfecting the game to have the time to post :huh:

[Whispers] Old loot places don't seem to be looted anymore. For instance the boat, 3 hrs into a 4 hour restart server with 38 players I went to the ship there was an sks, 2x fnx plus ammo for both, loads of clothing, backpacks etc. Are old loot spawn points being forgotten for newer area's? [/Whispers]

Game crashed, restarted comp then game, logged back into same server, about 2 minutes in I heard an explosion this was in Svet and the sound came from the north. I ran along the coast to the ship and was just getting to wheelhouse when I heard another explosion, again from the north and this time sounded closer and was a totally different sound to the dust one (not thunder) this was on a public regular server not experimental or hard-core.

Ah right, thanks. In over 150hrs I ain't ever heard explosions in the game.

Logged out whilst in a room, usual thing I do when I leave the game. Logged back in a few hours later only to find the option for opening a door missing so I'm basically stuck in a room with 3 doors non of which open. Logged out and back in on 3 other regular servers and still same issue. Logged out and joined a hard-core server, middle mouse button still works btw and I'm unable to climb ladders which suggests to me that any action that requires using middle button (although still bound correctly) isn't working and it's driving me nuts lol. Any ideas?

Thanks for the replies. All fixed now, all came back as it should after a reboot (5th or 6th) of computer. Maybe Dayz wasn't loading a file properly which stopped me opening doors or climbing ladders.
