How about just a simple fade to black in first person view (with ragdoll that might be awesome} -
When vehicles are added in people are gonna go nuts hopping all over to find one. I would love it if a bit later the devs are like "hey we added in vehicles that you can piece together but totally forgot to spawn in spark plugs" Oh the rivers of tears... epic.

Some discussion here about 30 rnd mags and 75 drum mags. I think of it like this: an AKM will hold 1 mag, lets say 75 drum. so, also having 4 inventory slots for another 75 drum gives you 150 rounds. On the other hand, an AKM with a 30 round mag, and 2 30 round mags taking up 4 inventory slots gives you 90 rounds. Same space used, nearly twice the rounds. Drum mags all the way baby.

You can stand high on the fields on the east side of Zelenogorsk and you might find a few Zeds at range. Just stay on the outskirts of towns and have a look in at range. Might find some, might not. -

Why arent you using an ACOG, LRS or PSO-1 scope? Will save you 4 slots in your inventory too. I ditched my binos, taking up space.

Sadly, gas cooking still burns meats. I know it wasnt in the changelog, but would have been nice if fixed

Sway with the PSO-1 scope on the AKM so much better now. Still does the left walk super steady tho.

I also just saw in game message " Missing file . " ... which happened since last patch. I have yet to crash while playing on map in this patch, but its early days...

Im not sure, but I exited server, going back to main title screen - crash. That was something that started since previous patch. Maybe some are fixed and some are not?

For anyone interested, I've got a bit of a regular run to find heli crashes.... 12 possible sites in just a few minutes and it's on my run from balota to NWAF (Path of the warrior). Maybe... maybe not... I can see people logging out upstairs somewhere and then relogging in the middle of the air somewhere else. I know what youre saying though, I have my own policy on this. I usually try to log out somewhere inconspicuous like under a fir tree - sometimes its not always possible. If I relog in a barracks or police station and I totally have the drop on someone, I will not shoot. I will run and if I get away, fair enough - but I will not shoot some guy in the back just because I appeared out of thin air. I logged in and found a guy proning around on the floor of a police station last night, fully geared. Left him be. Bet he had a heart attack. -
I love Novo, it feels like a proper city and i like the varied height layers. i have always enjoyed the far west, balota - zeleno - nwaf and the 2 military bases. i run it regularly. Since new patch, the doors at zeleno are open 3 out of 4 times. this never happened before. i see players doing the run now along the west edge.

I heard Hicks mention that beta could come 12-18 months after Alpha. So end of this year, to mid next. Anyway who cares? Why is Alpha or Beta status relevant? As long as the game continues to improve it doesn't matter. Just play and have fun :)

exit the server while facing a wall and relog after waiting a while so you join with no spawn countdown. you should spawn in whilst holding "w" and walk through the wall before it loads in

Tried many settings, nothing seems to work other than disabling alpha to coverage (which looks terrible) Tried turning off surface format optimization in catalyst control centre also, did not do anything.

Caboose187 speaks the truth. When I'm camping in the woods the trees block moonlight, rivers are ink black you can't see them. Placing your foot without using a torch is scary, you've no idea how it will land. Not every night is like this, but enough.
