I had to try on some camo clothing i came across to see if the rumors were true;-) and they are. flashed to water for one second, then everything im my inventory was gone... but my opack was still there, with the stuff in there. (bye bye m240.. nvg's... range finder.. m9sd.. but i still got this fricken l85 ACOG GL.. i cant seem to get rid of it... ive swapped it for a m107, a mk48 a m249... everytime i respawn that gun is back, and my kewl new gun is gone) Back to hunting for treasure, its all good.

I just found a jeep, with an L85A2 ACOG GL in it... it was parked right next to a deer stand! Is this the new L85A2? Or.... ???

My ghuillie suit went and evaporated on me upon update... i noticed in first server i joined i seemed to have gloves on, so i switched server to one with third person, so i could have a nosey at my character... and im back in civies. (such is life, just one lil issue that has effected me.)

For the sniper rifle, im quite partial to the DMR, just because its versatile(its good up close shootin from the hip) But have just got my hands on an m107... so my view may change(if the 107 came with ther5mal optics, without a doubt best sniper, but i havnt encountered any with that yet) SMG, bizon pp19 SD. It rocks! Assualt rifle, L85 with thermal scope/ or M4 sd holo, pending on yer style.

I had a wasteland spawn the day before yesterday... so i run on a heading o due east, and when i get to the forest proper, i stumbled upon, a truck(army style) a lil jeep thing(like a land rover, but not) and a comby van. So yea, there are stashes o em out there. Ive found a quad, and a bus before to(the buses are really easy to get stuck on road blocks, when attempting to run over Z's, so just go around the towns in them. ) But they are rare, if you see someone driving one, shoot em out o it... thats what happened to me with my lil jeep i stole from the stash(and my two mates id picked up... some good shooting by someone). And steal the bloody thing.

It loads and responds well for me, very cool! Umm, i notice the apartments (four or five o em) on the northern edge,by second hospital, and the red brick house with two rooms of central corridor, just north o supermarket isnt marked either. (dunno if thats what kinda feed back you were after?)

So along the same lines, i picked up a m16A4 ACOG a life or two ago, and it had an IRAD on it... i have never found NVG's, but is this functional in this game?(obviously cant see infra red beam without NVG's... but kewl if it works)

If you can see through the windows, you can enter a house, if the windows are totally opaque, you cannot. you press enter when the door open prompt appears for an enterable house. You soon figure out by sight which houses can, and cannot be entered(although, there are ones that are basically indenticle, minus the ability to eneter exit em) But in short, you can tell by whether you can see through the windows.

Dude as soon as you have gone north... dont ask if friendly, dont give away yah position. Shoot first, if yah get the drop on someone. If yah want team up, do it on the coast(it is a much more friendly place believe it or not), by the time people are by stary or NW airfield... they have invested enough time they wont be taking risks. And trusting to the good nature o a stranger on the interwebbies ;-) Yah best bet is to team up with clan mates, or RL mates, and use TS/vent/mumble. I wont shoot a starting player at the coast.. but ill be a shooting first up there.

What i do, is when i spawn i equip around the coast, making sure i got the essentials, 1911/revolver, and an assault rifle o some discrption, matches axe knife. the i meander north, hitting up deer huts in search o a better rifle normally(a lot o other trigger happy chappies will be doing the same mind) with the goal o raiding NW air field, and starry sobor mnilitary tents(even more trigger happy chappies) ecpect to have a few gun fights. then once yah sgeared, its time to get a vehicle sorted... by then im normally dead ;-)

You should head straight for the NW airfield... via stary sobor... raid the military tents whilst not getting snipied or chewed. You need a coyote backpack(bigger than alice) A decent assualt rifle, (m14 acog M16 A4 acog etc) and may be a smiper rifle... you also NEED NVG's. Now doing this stuff whilst not getting shot is where the fun begins... its a lil less huggsy wuggsy at NW or stary in my experince. ;-)

I gave up on players i didnt know a long time ago... ive been shot after ive killed the 20 Zs chasing some dude, bandaged him, then bang(well it was a cross bow, so thwack i suppose). Or the ole sucker killed, someone begging for a transfusion, so yah make yah way there, and BANG. Now i avoid all unknowns... if i run into someone, im a shooting. If i see em in time i will avoid, but ill also keep a bead on em, and if they so much as twict in my direction... BANG. The only thing hesitation has gotten me, is dead. Now i have run with strangers, but thats after using direct voice coms. And like i say, if i know there are players there, i will simply avoid them now. But players are MUCH more dangerous than Z's, and if they see you have good gear, yah just gonna get a bullet in the back o the head, if you dont put one in the front of theirs.

Well, i fully support you in yer endeavors here rocket, i will be voting with my wallet, if you get the standalone game... and will be buying ARMA 3 soley because of your mod (had been a BF fanboy, never played ARMA til this mod caught my eye) You will get plenty o people piggy backing off the success o this mod, no doubt, and you have to do what is best for you, and the MOD in general. To hell with the trolls dude. Honestly i havnt enjoyed a game like this since the delta force series, youve made BF3 seem like popping bubble wrap. I never raged before in games, now OHHH how i RAGE when i get sucker killed. I love it. So, te kia kaha Dean. You do what you need to do, have no doubt, the vast majority o us are your fanboys now!
