What should I bring when I go to hunt for vehicles?

Yah want a quad to go vehicle hunting ;) ... now, there is a lil farm house, about 1km north north east o the north east airfield.. can have two at a time... you will only need gas and two wheels to get running... but yah will need engine and or gas tank parts to fix fully per bike... its not a spawn on maps either. Then load yah bikes up with jerry cans so yah got the range to scour the north and west for these elusive camps... And to get around server reset, just save vehicle in a hiding place clear o enemy camp that you can find in case o a reset quickly after stealing, then do yah trekking, and if its resset, you will know where it will respawn... they wont. -

100 NZ dollars (between 80-85 us) up front without hesitation.. im not really keen on the idea o subscription gaming... i bought wow years ago... never got past installing cause o this(i should probably have read the cover) IId probably make an exception for this. -

If the vehicle disapears at server restart... it is hacked. Yah get RGO nades (or the like) from the lil jeeps sometimes... the stuff in the ural may be hacked, or the ural may be hacked(will know at server restart) Ive never found a spawned ural to know what spawn in em -
If they arnt in your TS channel, they are the enemy! Kill em all, let god sort em out. I leave un armed alone, but very rarly around coast myself, so seldom see em... had a dude with an axe come running toward me once, north o NE airfield.. put a burst o m240 into the ground at his feet... 180 degree turn around. ;-) Was more satidfying than killin him(obviously running for a camp up there some where.

I would... it could be a disconected player or such.. iwould be having a very hard look at the spots in over watch o it... and would be tempted to smoke the shit outta the area before taking(distracts zombies as well as obscuring.) Ive been doing donuts on nw air field in a hilux and been DCed... and had stuff to do, that kinda thing does happen. -

O and the MK is just as accurate as m14 if yah just single shot with it... yah dont need full auto(tap the button fast)... but its awesome to have if yah need it.. and its fine to use crouched or prone with 2-3 rnd burst. -

Are you serious... MK48 is probably the best all round weapon in the game... ammo is easy to find, it is awesome in every way! But real rare... m14 common as, good solid weapon, but a dime a dozen... so you should give me yah MK48 and keep the M14 o course! -
I think this server has a hacked in chopper at NE airfield. A chopper anyways, i found it, thought sweet, and took of in it, and got shot down a short while later flying past stary. I figured bad luck. But went on next day, chopper in same place, same thing happens... so sit back and watch someone else steal chopper... and watch these cats teleporting after it, blazing away at it.. this was us #500 blacklistedsociety server... i wont play there again.

Ive ssen em spawn at alter with that stuff... and without it. But i think its legit, or there is some random arse hacker spawning in wreaked vehicles to legit spawns, around the world... seems unlikly...

Because hackers live in a consequence free enviroment.. Its all our responsibilities, to change this. We need to be willing to take the 6mnth lag for a pencil inflicted eye stabbing on anyone you know who hacks... this is how we change the way it is... eye stabbings are a great way to teach game morals, a little negative reinforcement goes a long way. So dont whine about it... talk to hackers on forums, suck em in, and get to know them... then when they least expect it.... BAM!!! a number two pencil through the eye. {big thumbs up} -

Are vehicle spawns cross-server?

Vehicles are server persistant... theyre not easy to find by in large, and take a bit o time and effort to fix up... and can sometimes just diseapear from where they are saved... which is really annoying. But most i think must be stashed in clan camps. -

Ive found three crash sites numerous times on servers(so at least three... probably more per server)... and yes they are pretty random. They dont spawn gear after intial spawning, so a server that resetts regularily is more likly to have a non looted chopper, increase yah chances at being the first to find one.

What the judge said. I gear up basic on the coast, then head north, hunting crashed choppers, then hit stary/NW airfield til im happy with my kit. (im never happy with my kit) Any one else rekon that LMG/GPMG's have become much scarcer on chopper crashes since last patch? (i havnt seen one in ages...) -
if youre after the ammo, it only spawns in the 7.62 ammo tins, the ones with 10 DMR 10 M24 and 10 SVD. I think that gun looks reallly kewl! but i gave my last one away, cause ammo is a bit o a hassel for it.

I come across a few 50s on heli crashes.. not really my kinda weapon mind(preffer the SAW/m240/MK 48) Ive only ever come across two MK 48s, they rock!!! The problem with the 50s is yah cant use the scope with NVGs, ammo is common as for em though. (m107 mags) But to get this stuff... you have to be raiding up north, in very dangerous areas. (no electro/ cherno are not dangerous loot areas)

The M16A4 ACOG also has an irad(laser pointer.. infra red aiming device)... they do work with nvgs, great for target indication(say a spotter with l85 and sniper with DMR) Or just pointing to areas o interest... so long as you are all NVGed up.

Yea ive has the same happen... but also with a DMR... and a SAW.. so id say its just a bug, and the odd primary evaporates(was always in my primary slot when it happened.

It is utterly gutless to disconect, whether during a fire fight, or immediatly after sniping a few rounds... If they dont want to risk looting the corpse fair enough. But certainly a few blouses floating around claiming to be bandits. I kill people, more often than not when i see em, and if they look to have better stuff than me, ill loot em. But often it leads to drawn out stalking and counter stalking o the victims mates, which is fun... but id get maybe 50% o the kills i get attributed to me because o disconects. -
Lol, what Valec said. Seriously, wake up, this is not "my little ponies special friends fun time" or such. But id say you should forget about dayz, and go and get yer self something more of that ilk. This is a surivial game. So survive, and quite moaning.
