That is a negative opinion and criticism on current development and that makes it a hit in my book.

It is in pre-alpha and the release will be alpha, so also far from being finished so no way of knowing as of yet how long it will take to reach 1.0 or how playable it will be in alpha. It does look good and seems promising. What I don't understand is why your post had to be a hit on Dayz SA, you could have simply made the post to introduce this game.

I use almost all buttons, in my setup below I can control all basics in the game. That leaves my left hand completely free for drinking, smoking, picking my nose and so on.

It's been a long time since the infection started and all people and military left the area. This is why all towns and raods are overgrown and most military vehicles rusted. By that time the corpse would most likely already have been consumed by the infected.

It's the new equivalent of the "black face" phenomena. Restarting the game solves it (for a while at least).

I am no bandit myself but would definitely prefer to be held up by a robber and have an adventure together than the more common scenario of someone shooting you unannounced in the back...

First of all: there is function called 'edit' so you don't have to make separate posts. Second of all: who says you are "within the game reality" the first to loot these houses? Most items of interest have already been taken and you are lucky to sometimes find a steak knife or some usable clothing. I think scarcity is more realistic than abundance.

i also felt like typing a senseless mess of sentences without any punctuation because hey its what everybody seems to do these days because if you have info to share or a question to ask why in the hell would you respect the person reading your text because its not like you would want to motivate them to not only completely read your rambling but also understand what is being said and possibly even get an useful answer out of them of course its all because of the modern times with gadgets like smartphones and tablets that are in a way an improvement but are not really helping online communities like this one because typing any length of text on them is a hassle and autocorrect is messing with words and to check spelling is just too much trouble so i for one still prefer to do anything online with a computer simply an old fashion monitor mouse and keyboard because in the end they work so much better but hey who am i to condemn modern times and it is not all impossible that millenials have developed reading skills that i personally lack because of my old age and they can maybe simply glance at a body of text and perfectly understand where normal people would have used capitals commas exclamation marks or question marks and full stops it could be indicative of a next step in human evolution and could even be the first step towards telepathic communication now that i think of it although that might be taking it a bit too far because yeah we all know they are just lazy and dont give a shit about the people that have to make sense out of the mess they leave behind on forums nevertheless i have idle hope that this rambling of mine will open their eyes but lets face it it wont and there may even be a chance i get a warning or temporary ban for trolling which i could actually understand in a way as long as those posters who are allergic to punctuation get a warning too okay well thanks for reading and please change your behavior and have a good weekend and enjoy dayz cya

Right now a pristine item looks better and can take more damage, fine. How about making 'containers' like shirts, pants and backpacks more important to be pristine. For example: a badly damaged backpack will have about 4 random slots 'greyed out' where you cannot place items. It will also mess with your ability to put multi-slot objects where you want them or maybe even prevent it. Patching it up may restore one slot. Same for clothing. This will make having pristine items more important. Patching it now only really restores how an item looks and somewhat enhances the damage it can absorb. Also, taking damage should not only ruin an item but also the slot it's in.

BTW, I would like the damaged slots to be "random", so it may really mess with the way you can store items.

Yeah, play on private and whitelisted servers. In 1300 hours I have been killed by a hacker only once, on a public server.

But making caves in rock structures above ground should be possible right? I don't see how it would be different from a building with a second floor in essence. Would be nice to have many smaller and larger caves around the map.
