Great tip, works for me. I found 3000 works for me, I can manipulate the serverlist and go to favorites while it is still loading. On 500 it takes a long time to find all available servers. I usually find 1000 + with ping 100 as max in filter settings.

Oh I forgot, you now also use R to cycle the bolt with non automatic weapons, like the repeater, mosin and so on, so no more just spamming the fire key with these weapons.

R is now meant for solving jams (future) and will only remove 1 bullet from the chamber. You have to reload when you get the symbol when your mag is empty or place a full magazine in your hot bar and use the corresponding number. Or do it manually using the interface.

Yes and keep in mind that this 4 GB INCLUDES also your video ram..., so with a 64 bit OS you could use your full 12 GB RAM in your system.

P back for me. Like you said, there are other ways to tell anyway just takes more effort. Knowing how many players are in the server and therefore how likely it is you run into one can define the way you play on that server. I can understand why some would argue that knowing the number of players is A: unrealistic, B: possibly ruining the premise of the game (having to be on your guard all the time, feeling like you take a big risk going to high traffic (military) locations. But, sometimes I don't feel like having that "stress" and you can always look for a low pop server in the server list anyway. So I feel disabling P doesn't really solve any problem one could have with it.

I really wish the devs would give us a digital watch in the game giving server time and the date / month the server is set to so we have a clue.

You are right, I am talking about the period 1999 - 2009. Don't know if they have improved since then, they have a great reputation (but always did) so many seem to be pleased about their mobo's.

Giving the info now that you seemingly already tried to report this seems a little unbelievable now that you get criticized about sharing an exploit. Also, you could have contacted an admin before posting, some have short lines to the devs. But, in your defence, it WILL probably get noticed and hopefully fixed soon. Meanwhile we can all look forward to a lot of players abusing this knowledge.

I wonder if it could be a problem with your profile not loading? Did you check if you have a DAYZ folder in your documents? Should look like this: (those 4 files should all be set to "read only OFF")

Although I agree the storage capacity of barrels and tents are not realistic I kinda like you have to prioritize your cache and make constant choices about what to store or throw away eq what is important and what is expandable. In the end as it is you can store an entire loadout like outfit, weapons and some miscellaneous stuff in a barrel. I think only pvp players really want more storage so they can store multiple loadouts to get back into playing pvp again quickly after dying.

My personal experience with ASUS mobo's is not that great. I had several and all developed problems after about 3 years. Mostly with onboard sound chips and USB controllers. I also had several Asus GPU's which were all fine. I now have a MSI mobo which is serving me well for over 6 years now.

I am sure the overheating system is not in it's final design yet but what about some extra ways to cool your body down? -use canteen or PET bottle to make yourself wet when no water is around -use canteen or PET bottle to wet a bandana that you can wrap around your neck to cool the jugular veins or put on your head, same for caps and other cloth headgear. -possibility to wear a jacket open or zipped up (I understand this may be difficult for textures) -realistic use of clothing layering These are all real life ways to keep yourself a little cooler.
