both rare and normal? man. i had to explain to my nephew why playing unfinished games is different than finished games. he went to bed and suddenly i lose everything i spent hours finding. lol "

i think it'd be less painful if i could find a way to definitely know where i am.

I was trekking what i thought was north ( whole different issue i keep facing, that cloud direction is a lie) through country along a train track. i had my mountain pack full of things, and my cargo pants full, when the server did whatever it did. so i exited the server, i entered into another server. when i got back in my character had retreated back down the track a distance and was missing the pack, pants, and shoes. i had my head gear, shirt and weapons.

SO i've recently started playing this game, and after dying at least 5 times in a row, i got on a good streak. got good gear had food and stuff and was hiking trying to find my way around. and then the server stops working. So i logged out and back into another one and mountain backpack cargo pants shoes and other stuff are gone, i'm stand there in my draws and bare footed. in the middle of nowhere... needless to say that led to me dying again. so is this normal? to accumulate stuff and it just vanishes?
