Im still getting this problem. Seems as when I try joining an empty server, or the servers called "DO NOT JOIN!!!?!!11!one!! I KICK YOU!!" My toon gets stuck on the "waiting for host" screen, it either just times out, or I press ESC to go back to the serverbrowser. When this happens theres like a 50/50 chance my toon gets reset and I end up as a new spawn. Never happened on servers with more the 10 people on them... On a sidenote, Ive been testing joining rejoining servers to try and figure out my problem. Its more or less always the case on the privet servers where the admin kicks anyone joining this happens...

Im getting the "Waiting for host" and nothing else, when finally I find a server I get in to, my charecter is a respawn... Happened 3 times now for me, also sometimes it takes 2-3 mins for the game to find any servers at all, but when clicking the "favorite" the servers pop up normaly, clicking back to "internet" and nothing...

Yea, figured that out last week after sometime. On a side note here, after playing a while now whit the new supermutants, im starting to really like it, if you are careful, plan your route and always be on your guard, fireaxe ready, it can be done. Also it seems to spawn zombies at random, been on several places now where not a single zed have been spotted. But also, entering towns and seen a horde of 6-10 zeds rushing at me... Just stock up on bandages! But the best thing was, I meet 2 other players. They saw me at a distance, came running to me yelling *help* and wanted to team up to find loot, food badages and, if time alowed, some guns. I saw teamwork with strangers... Strangers!! They didnt want to kill me! :)

Been running around the map some hours now, and one thing strikes me. Was in Gorka, tons of zeds. Went to Novy/Stary Sobor, found 4 zeds, no new respawns at all... Now just past in the military base there to the west of Stary sobor and havent seen a single zombie in there. Even fired some shots with a 1911 I finally found a clip for there, and still no zombies spawned. Seems to be some kind of generation of the spawnings maybe? Oh, I cant be sure, but seemed to me that all places visited was untouched, militarybase was atleast. Lots of loot, and no zombies?

Standalone, thats what I play, wanted more zeds/infected after playing, so bought arma 2 and fired up the mod aswell, but Im getting slaughtered there. :rolleyes:

Tell me about it, was playing the hours before the patch, went out for a drive to the store. Come back, log in and... Yea, you might get were this is heading. :)

Not taking it offensive either. Well, nevermind anyways. Im not a veteran Dayz mod player, only played for 12-13 hours total. And never played Arma 2 original game at all. I took up my grammar because I think I might missunderstand what you are saying and/or say something I might not mean. English is hard for me, as I took german and spanish instead of english back in school. Well, nevermind. Lets end this thread now and hope next one might be alittle more fun. Have a nice zombie apocalypse.

Wow, just wow! You actually did it! You were helpful once. Posting the dictionary thingy was the thing I have been trying to get you to understand. B e h e l p f u l, not a condescending douch. So your telling me you are calling them zombies aswell, yet you try to "educate" me to not call them that? Doesnt really matter what you tell me anymore man, I can understand you might know your stuff about the Dayz mod, not questioning that at all. And yes, I do "hate" how the movieindustry changed the hole zombiescene. Have you ever considered english might not be my native language? And this making gramar and so on very loose? I did say "sorry" for using such strong word, as you seemingly keept pointing it out. Tbh, just take a chillpill and "man up" abit yourself, Ill do the same. Keep going at it sticks and stones style or move on... Ball is yours. Just log in, run full speed trough electro and shoot one or two magnum shots and you will find out. :)

Well, you came at me guns balzing on my first post, and why you dont seem to grasp the fact that when you buy the game, you get a big sign saying its in alpha dev. When you start the game you have to click an accept button that says its an alpha with many bugs etc etc. Why on earth do you start of right at the bat thinking Im a morron not knowing this? You have your oppinions, I have mine. You seem to think that for me calling them a zombie and not infected is wrong somehow? Why? Cant they be both? "Wheres that damn zombiedictionary when you need it". I counter you on everything because your not really helpful in your answeres, you are more condescending. Therefor I kinda don´t really care what you think do or say. But let´s end it here shall we. You got your ideas, I got mine, none of us are right or wrong in anything. Its a game, its a story, it can be whatever we want it to be. And I don´t want it to be fastrunning zombies!

Well, you act kinda like a stereotypical fanboy to the Dayz mod. Where can I find the "Story" you imply? How can you finish of with "You alone make your own story from that point onwards" and tell me there not zombies but infected... What is the scientific term of a zombie? Does it matter what we call them? I still dont like "yes, your right there, hate was alittle strong, sorry" it from movies tvshows or games when infected/zombies/undead get involved and they run like there late for work after you. Sure thing, keep the roadrunner team on the zeds, just don´t let them have superpowers, like 20/20 vision, ultrasonic hearing and abilities that would make the T-1000 jealous. And yes... I K N O W its a bloody alpha, but you do know that the devs WANT our oppinions right? This is mine.

Dude, I wasnt QQing. So stop beeing a dick about it. I didn´t play your beloved Dayz mod, I played the standalone, and from what I could tell even from looking around Dayz mod forums people tend to see it as zombies... So yea, I can easily see why people tend to see them as zombies and not infected. But instead of telling people the "facts" with an attitude like a rhino. Why not try to be alittle helpful. I bloody KNOW its an alpha, but if you bothered to read what I said -Quote; (My wishlist). Youd get that I just said my thoughts about the game. Id love it if you could guide me to some site or wikipage or even a forumsection here that can give me more insight about the games "story". All in all, thanks for your post and oppinion. Hope this ends in another Dayz correction of facts happy camper, so the bandits get another bambi in there to shoot at.

Please please PLEASE stop doing the stupid Usain Bolt zombies! I hated the movies, and hate them now, zeds shouldnt run! If they do, its not zeds but that stupid newage shit that came with 28 days later etc etc... The speed before the hotfix was fine. Just fix the damn ghosting/wallhacking and suddenly appearing from thin air 1 meter next to you. Loved it that they follow you up stairs now, HATE it that they just run through walls like they were made in Japan. My wishlist would be; - Slower zombies - Stronger zeds - Zeds living under the same gravity laws as the rest of us (Yes, I see the double standard there XD) No more wallhacks etc... - Groupspawns, I´d love to see bands of 10-20 zeds just roaming around. As fast as the zeds are now, and with the op eaglyeye and superman hearing, this and the spawning, spawning is fun, if it occurs atleast away from sight, not right next to you.
