    Concerned about the Sawn Off

    I have to say that each time I see a thread like this I'm left scratching my head. I previously saw a thread that said the regular shotgun did no damage. I took some fellow testers into Elektro and one shot each from about 20 meter distance. Then I saw a thread about SKS's accuracy being low, however I tried it out and scored headshots with each shot at 300-500 meters with just ironsitghts. Is this just another one of those I wonder? <_<

    When a server restarts, what time is it?

    This can be set up by each server host in the server settings, therefore it may differ. I believe that the "default" value is 14:00, but like I said, that is easily editable.

    Consider this bug exterminated. We have internally fixed this issue. It will be patched in the next game update.

    The mechanic behind silenced ammunition is still in the works. Guns do indeed break legs. To prevent panic, let me point out that these are not invisible zombies. It is zombie hits registering late due to desync.

    Hmmm.. is it bad to admit I never thought of that? There are unfortunately some issues that we cannot fully test internally, such as server performance once a patch is released to public. Lies!

    I got a mental image of a girl letting her parents die in a zombie apocalypse just to save the contents of her wardrobe. You shouldn't claim ownership of Svetlo. It has been claimed by our department long ago. EDIT: You have to run this check manually. Therefore you might end up connecting to a server with your files messed up without you even knowing about it beforehand.

    It's possible that some people might end up with altered/corrupted .pbo files through no fault of their own (e.g. messed up Steam update). VAC banning this exploit would probably end up doing more harm than good imo.

    It is fixed. A player using modified/missing .pbo files is kicked by the server. Anyway, you guys who are sad to see the "Force Feed" option for disinfectant spray be removed, what if I told you that there is the "Force Drink" option? ^_^

    Respawning zombies and loot?

    I wish Dean responded to me every time I needed something. :) He's kinda busy. But to address the topic, we are of course aware that loot is not respawning. It is being worked on, but it's not a simple thing to implement without causing major stress on the servers - there is a lot of tweaking that needs doing.
  19. Like I said, this issue is known and is being fixed at the moment. The thing is that your character is actually not dead when this happens. That is why the respawn button is not available. You can try logging in and waiting until you starve to death, the button will become available then. This is what a few people confirmed to be a workaround.

    You Are Getting Wet

    This is a debugging feature to help with testing rain and other things that make you wet (please don't). If you are bothered by it, stick to the stable branch where the message is not present. Similar things may appear on the experimental branch from time to time, but will typically not make it into the stable version of the game.
  21. Honestly, it's not. It never happened to me and I've played a lot. There is a possibility of a similar problem if you drown, that issue is known and is being worked on.
