    Weather hasnt been worked on yet beyond what already exists. But we have discussed some things we can do. It's probably not going to happen before we get the alpha out however.

    We added a function to SA that returns ingame Air Temperature. This will be able to be measured by players using a thermometer.

    Ammunition

    Magazines can be "emptied" and you then receive a pile of rounds. These rounds can be stacked up to certain maximums, before another stack must be made. You can then split these stacks, or drag them onto magazines, or even into a weapon to load one shot.
  9. Guys, heck. The map has never need an "alpha blocker". I talk about this in the video i mean... cmon. There is NO release date set. Dayz passes an alpha review... dayz released. Simple.
  10. Yes. I am saving them, so that when I buy a brand new lambo one day... I can print them all out, and stick them all over it, take a picture of it, and post it on the internet.

  13. ToS agreements aren't worth the money they're not printed on. Sue "company?" what company? Most of these guys are individuals. It's questionable if they are actually doing something illegal. And even if they are, I'm not a fan of suing people for the sake of it. The only people who benefit are lawyers. I sued someone once who owed me alot of money for an invoice. I finally won a judgement from the court for them to pay, but by that time the director just stripped all the assets from the company and I was left with no payment and a big legal bill. The solution here is to engineer a good system, not hire good lawyers.

  16. ^this maybe it doesnt show well in the video, but it's certain how I feel. The animations feel much more responsive - although there is some still missing that results in your character stopping to do something (you can change weapon while running while erect, but not for other stances or for sprinting yet) Yes, all items have tooltip descriptions eventually. Some items show different information too, like magazines show how much ammo and syringes show what labels are on them etc...
  17. It was seriously considered. I mean, it may seem like we're stupid sometimes but we really don't just sit around saying "hurrr durr letz maek a vidao gaem!"
  18. Do you realize how much Euphoria costs? It's like a million to buy a license - then you give them a royalty. Also, that WOULD delay DayZ development by about 2 years.

  20. Yes. There will probably be a severe penalty for disconnecting while restrained, possibly your character will be considered "dead". But the time to break free from restraints will not be too long. Let me put it this way, there is much more rope in the world than ammo - and ammo will need to be conserved. So I suspect it will offer a viable way for people to take others gear. Tie them up, and then head away. Five minutes later they have broken free - alive but missing their gear.
  21. The restraint system will be similar to SS13. Realism sometimes need to be sacrificed in favor of gameplay, after all you don't LIVE in the game. Different methods of restraint will take longer to wriggle out of than others. Cuffs, for example, will take substantially longer than, say, duct tape or something like that. But we're not talking hours, we're talking minutes.
  22. Exactly. I do this quite a bit. you have to time it right, but if you strafe when the zombie jumps it actually misses you. Hard to believe nobody else notices that.
  23. Because it was 4am and many things could go wrong, like HD failure or youtube taking days to process the video.
