id prefer to get good fps in the large towns we have, before getting anything like a city area

the busiest server i can play on hardcore only has 3 out of 40 players right now, this is almost always the case late at night. loads of players on regular mode. ive made a topic about this a while back, which turned into a 1st person vs 3rd person debate, this is not a debate, just cant believe that noones playing at night, i dont wana play on empty servers, where are you people?

yeah thats right. the current spawn areas are all west or north west, go to berezino or svetlojarsk for instant action

a new spawn can carry a handgun in his jeans, a new spawn can knock you out in 1 punch. nothing makes anyone look friendly, to a player with experience. if you got your orange raincoat, green tracksuit trousers with stripe, and white hard hat and we bump into each other in the wrong situation, it all means nothing

wow yeah i didnt know about automatic ping 100 thing, even though it is displayed kinda clearly n the screen, haha anyway im in europe, and i am playing dayz late at night usually, at the moment. i mean in my real time, not in-game time i wouldnt expect to see loads of packed harcore servers after 12am, but i would expect at least 1 half full, i usually play on this german one [GER] woshe... or something which seems to be one of the busier/better servers, but its been more quiet recently late at night, which sucks. late at night theres usually 1 or 2 players on about 5 or 6 different hc servers, it woudlnt be so bad if they all went in the same one. anyway cheers

last night on stable hardcore i couldnt interact, and would get kicked after a minute by the server. had to join about 5 servers which took a long time! and run away from location, and then i was able to pick something up, and then was back to normal. later same happened again, logged into 1 server and it loaded an old character, few more server joins, and it was ok again, didnt get much gaming done, was kinda an annoying night haha. anyway ill gues its something thats happening to a lot of people at the moment, for whatever reason

was in a server prone not doing anything for a few minutes and server said session lost, went in another server got session lost after about 1 minute. went in a 3rd and realised i was unable to interact with my items, unable to put gun in hands and unable to open doors. been in 3 mnore now and same story. not being able to interact has has happened to me before and i fixed it with just joining another server, but this keeps happening on different servers 3 or 4 now, kinda weird, anyway il try restarting and reconnecting to a different one, see what happens.

nah it was not my internet

or is my server browser not showing them or something? i dont think thats the problem though

we need some indication, even if its just text next to the weapon in tab mode

after a few more game restarts and server switches, i decided not to check if my equipment worked, not right clicking on items in inventory, not interacting with anything, and just ran in a direction away from where i was. i realised i was not getting dcd after more than a minute or so, and then tried to pick up an item i saw on teh ground, and it offered me the action to pick up, and then i was back to normal, problem fixed. i duno if what i did had anything to do with it or not, but if this happens to anyone else, it should be worth a try.

op dont you know that they already can be used as rags, and have been able to for ages? also i saw a video a few weeks ago where dean hall talked about identifying armbands check it that if you havent seen it i think its called rezzed.

what i mean is that you claim to be a "hero" but you dotn even understand the game yourself yet, or you woulnt be making this topic. explore the game, get to know it, then worry about being a "hero" to other players edit, i find the self proclaimed hero status to be a bit stupid, and reading yoru post sayign "im a hero, can you please tell me how to get military gear" just made me laugh. im, not trying to attack you or be offensive either, its just funny

i was in a 40/40 server for the last 2 hours, just finished. it was full dark night, players were all over nwaf area. was good game

op do you accidentally have power saver mode on on your pc , check in power options and make sure its on high performance mode

of course if your "playstyle" is to walk across the edge of the map you should have food with you, as there is nowhere to get food anyway, everyone already knows that. in general there is no need to carry any food or especially soda cans with you in the game,

grass draw distance (or something that simulates it) is a general game play factor, it is the most important thing the game is currently missing if its not a "game play factor" in dayz, i dont know what would be a "game play factor" in this game. i am not concerned at this stage in development, although if this issue is not addressed in future i would be disappointed and suprised

op, if you play a lot you will learn that you dont need to carry food or soda cans around

yeah there has to be some solution, and i imagine that is what it will be, rather than rendering grass, unfortunately

what does this have to do with the problem with grass draw distance
