because dayz it good game

look at a wall, run, then jam sumthin in "w" keyboard so you keep running. put game in windowed mode, watch youtube while you wait for the glitch out, lag will happen eventually and you will find yousrself outside. for me it took a while, about 20 minutes, maybe if you open loads of videos it will make your connection lag so you will get out faster, as irish suggested a few days ago in a post like this

i woudln't doubt for a second that what is said here is read and thought about by some people involved with the games development. why wouldnt they be interested in teh views of players who are enthusiastic enough to come online* and discuss the game. i can see why they dont post here much (maybe some do under unassuming names), as soon as they wrote something people would be all over it, quoting and questioning, etc, it would never end/

im against teh idea of anything at all being forced onto the player, anything you feel in game should be because thats how you are feeling

im not having any more issues than you are, you and everyone will be getting lower fps in svetlo, just like in electro, etc, incase you didnt know that i did say myself its a cool town, ist quite built up, although the spawn town loacation means that people will die, and then run back there instantly. edit, id say do this one at novy and stary, much better idea in my view, but if im about il probably join anyway, il save this page to my faves to remind me.

not many busy european hardcore servers, so i stil go there. i can still play on the server, just wish they didnt have to put these messages.

yeah cool you guys are tryign to create somethign exciting, but why choose svetlo, its a cool town, although its a spawn town, and its lagging, low fps. why not consider somewhere inland, even krasnostav

i hope they will be extremely difficult to gain and maintain, and i hope they will not be common.

one of the fr hardcore servers has a mesage with im starving i need to drink disinfectant. its annoying, i dislike those server messages coming up on the screen when in game.

what people wear doesnt matter someone who enjoys kos, may wear a press vest or un helmet until they found something better anyone has the right to wear what items they want to in game anyone who thinks they have the right to survival is playing wrong game i think because of these reasons i disagree with thsi suggestion 100%

the game is already intense and thoughtful, it depends who is playing it. of course as more mechanics are introduced, there will be more options that will increase the options and playability

yeah i did click link but i cant really get any info from it. relating to this suggestion i cant see any reason how free look with 30 second or longer timer log out, with option to cancel, can be expoilted. character being vulnerable while blind is something i disagree with, i cant think of any reason why it could be a good thing.

im not sure why you quoted my sentence, im not even sure if u you are agreeing with me or not. i am not the person who is complaining about combat logging in this topic. anyway., i am not interested in logging off the game when there is combat. i am also not agreeing with your suggestion of being forced to stay in a game for a set amount of time after being shot at. i am in favour of the original suggestion of free look while logging out, via the timer. and being able to cancel logging out. i woudl be in favour of increasing the log out timer to a minute

it has always been a standard method of camoflage, in jungle warfare, it breaks up a silhouette. on a skyline, changes the shape of an object. also, do you think that discoloured and misshapen plants are too rare to replace? even the boonie hat in game description explains thats what its function is.

i dont need to imagine any type of back story, but i do play to stay alive. to me this isnt role playing its just playing dayz. i agree with op that trying to get into gun fights isnt playing dayz, its just using dayz as an fps, sure sometimes gun fights will happen, but noone trying to survive would try to be hanging out in the middle of the most populated areas gun fighting constantly/ people say that all you can do is pvp, so thats why they doing it, i think managing to be aware of your surroundings and avoiding hostile contact using tactics is interesting and skillful, as well as realistic, and it doesnt mean being away from populated areas, at all. shooting someone who has a gun is nothing, carefully looting nwaf alone or better with friend, on a full server is more exciting i think many people will kill others because they dont trust them in a dayz environment. in everyday life in 2014 all around the world people are attacked and killed walking down the street for no real reason. not everyone cares about other people, there are many violent selfish and unkind people in the world, in a dayz environment, they woudl be even less compassionate.

what you did, is play how the game should always be played. also, you can get rags from bandanas , and you cant use bandages, it has to be rag and stick, (as far as know). dotn ever carry your morphine(or splint items) in your trousers, because trousers are always auto-ruined when you break your legs. anyway, well played. oh yeah,1 more thing u can still climb ladders with broken legs, incase you didnt know that too

i just play the game as its meant to be played, on other peoples servers. you could always come back once modding is supported

i still do not see how it can be exploited. if youre trying to hide from an attacking player when you are in log out mode and sitting down they should still be ready and have the drop on you, its nothing to do with the skill of logging out or logging out in a safe place. its to do with being fair to your own character and being realistic, for everyone. most good players will not want to come across a player who is logging out (and not able to defend) also if you have much experience in the game since the latest update, you will know that its possible to be lying prone for half an hour without moving, in the forest, and then be attacked by a zombie that has spawned next to you, so that can also happen when you logged out. also, a player that you did not try to combat log from, can arrive and find you, by pure luck. i still maintain that blind log out, is not required, its artificial and its unfair to the player logging out, aswel as being inrealistic for whoever comes across them

if you can be killed you should have the option to defend yourself, its unrealistic to be blind while your character is still visible in server its nothing to do with combat logging, or difficulty, i do not want this feature added so i can use it to combat log, i want it because logging out blind is an artificial handicap that is not required. i am looking for the most difficult experience possible with dayz, and coming across a character who is in log out mode and defenseless is not something i ever want to be faced with in game,

last night i finally dropped my pristine press vest at nwaf , for a worn black combat vest . cant stand the massive press writing, makes me feel like a target

yeah there is, because your character is visible after you log out and its completely reasonable and realistic that you should see whats happening to your character while it is visible in the server.

how can it be exploited if your character is still visible in game? its not an exploit to see whats happening to your character when you want to disconnect.
