Had the same problem. Hitting "shift" key while driving seems to put the truck in a higher gear. It works well for me. Give it a try. Truck will easily climb any hill with this keystroke.

Having the same issue from time to time. I've been able to work around the problem by removing an article of clothing and putting it back on. This seems to allow me to pick up items. Word of warning though: Some buildings will lose the article of clothing or it may drop a floor below you. Best bet is to remove clothes outdoors, put back on and re-enter the building and you should be able to now pick up the item. Hope this helps.

This is the beauty of private servers! I'll no longer play on public servers for the reasons stated in this thread. Seems the OP may be suited for BF4 or COD. I think you come in those games loaded up. I prefer the slow crawl and true reward of finding something great on the private servers. -

Were you on Violent Gentleman's Club by any chance? My brother and I encountered a hacker (Yes I reported it to Steak and Potatoes) in Cherno on three occasions yesterday. Must be a miserable life to have to take that approach.

Killing players while they're logging in / out

It's all about where you log out/in. Buildings to me are a pure No-No. I put forth an effort to get to the woods or other secure spot away from civilization. I agree with the waiting for 5 minutes to make sure the Zeds are clear. I agree also that log ins/outs are fair game. Easy to head shot them and recover all the gear without ruining it. -

Yes you can drive with a gas can. Often when you get out of the truck you will put the canister on the ground.

It's certainly not nice if you have passengers!
