Save yourself the 30 bucks, it's not worth it. Plus, it's a bad look. Cheating isn't the answer. If it's the Berezino Office, face the southern window, log into a high ping server and vault like the dickens. Worked for me before. Good luck!

There is no school building in DayZ. I hear there are logs in experimental so if you get banned don't be surprised.

Your using a controller that has a cord right? Like an Afterglow? Same thing is happening to a friend of mine that uses one. I use a wireless XBOX controller with a wireless reciever and it works fine. If you make a bug report I'll vote it up as it is a legitimate bug atm. -

How could we deal with hackers?

1) Kill messages won't work. If you can't see them it doesn't mean they are invisible. 2) Flag features can be easily abused by trolls and etc. Plus the function would stress the server is spammed. 3) Admins would abuse that power. Too similar to ESP. RPT logs could work. Any logs for that matter might work. -

A dozen+ isn't a couple. A couple is two. I indicated my hacker count because people in this very thread say they haven't seen any. E.G.: So Sexy has 100 hours in and hasn't seen one, Golden Child has 500 hours and hasn't seen one, ManInTheWall has 400 hours and hasn't seen one, DJPorterNZ has 341 hours in experimental and hasn't seen one. Well I have 900 hours in and seen more than a dozen…that is why I posted that. I don't enter jails in NEAF because I know people hang out inside the walls. It's pretty well known that folks are inside walls in jails. If you know that, why put yourslef in harm's way? It's not tactical of, relating to, or constituting actions carefully planned to gain a specific military end. -

No problem Chuck. If I can make another suggestion: next time you post a thread, give the content a thought before you post. Think of this forum as the wild Serengeti filled with hyena's. Show the slightest sign of weakness and the pack will shred you to ribbions. You did whinge a bit so it's not like you didn't bring it on yourself. You can still make the same thread, but reword it a bit. Like instead of we need an update ASAP, ask for suggestions or what other people do to combat hackers. Stuff like that. Ask for a better way instead of complaining a la we need this or we need that. Ask questions because there are some good folks on the board who like to answer them. The Devs know about hacking and if you could take a look at this sticky found in the top of General Discussion you would see a Dev adressing this very issue and tearing up some regulars here a new asshole. They had zero idea SA would be this big. As a matter of fact, Dean Hall told Bohemia he was projecting 350k in sales by this time if I'm not mistaken. You know what's funny? People on this very board, on the mod end said the hype would be dead before SA came out and look at how that played out? We got new players by the boatload playing DayZ. My first face-to-face experience with a hacker I was scared shitless, I was like ZOMG A HACKER…RUN WAY. But after a few minutes of being telechased I was like, this dude sucks…not impressed. We've ran into hackers with guns and still not impressed. It's all how you situate yourself tactic wise. If your out in the open running around all silly like, then yeah…a teleporting, speedhacking crumb-off might get the job done. But if you take measures, calculated measures…they are pretty easy to beat. I'm not going to give out tactics because a hacker can read my words and counter it so I'll leave it at that. My best advice is be tactical and get creative because hackers aren't. That part of their brain is dark, no lights. Use their hacks against them [w/o hacking if you know what I mean]. The uncreative are easily out-thought. -

Can I make a suggestion? Update your playing style and quit going to Berezino. It isn't the only place for good DM. Cheaters aren't that creative, hence why they cheat so it's east to predict where they go and Berezino isn't exactly hard to figure out that cheaters will be there in force. Anybody that comes onto a hardcore server we're on in Svelto, chances are they will run into trouble. It's not as hot as Bereznio, but its pretty dam fun. There are other places that are fun for DM, maybe not as hot as Berezino but a little patience and it's worth the wait. Since we've been there [approx 5 weeks] we've run into about 4 hackers and killed every single one of them. Actually, that's a lie…a few actually escaped during a server restart believe it or not and they were freshies teleporting and speed hacking. I have played 900+ hours and ran into about a dozen or so. -

So I went fishing in 0.45 and for the life of me I can't catch one. Tried about 5 different sized ponds. If there any technique once they start nibbling? Like do you wait to pull or spam to pull or etc? I've exhausted all technique and still w/o a catch. :(

Haved you tried this in the current experimental build? I tried it last night and it was pitch black with it up. I've said it before and I'll say it again, devs needs to turn on the dang street lights. It'll only effect cities and places with street lamps so it's not like it's OP or anything. They used to have alight or two on in 3PP, but now nothing. I don't get it. -

I do. I know….ya don't say? Actually your wrong. Answer found here: * Once the red font appears saying the fish had bitten the bait, "QUICKLY" scroll and select "pull out" option. Yeah, I have everything. I've spent about an hour RL time with no fish. Curious if there is a bug with the bait. I've gotten several nibbles but the bait is still there and once the bait is on you can't take it off to rebait. -

More than 2 primaries is silly though. Having one on certain backpacks or via a gun bag falls into a realism category. Having 3-5 doesn't. Lines must be drawn. -
