    Our shard is located in New York. We have many international residents as far as Australia and the Phillipines. Despite having a higher than average ping, their connection is solid to our server. Zero complaints sofar. I think we have almost 10 players from AU.

    I really liked the bugged wells. I liked them so much that it got me thinking that wells could possibly have a lifetime before they run dry. Maybe 5k-10k hits or something. Naturally they would replenish with durations of rain.

    On a side note…I haven't seen a single instance of megaloot in the new 0.51 exp build. Not to say it isn't there, but I haven't run into it and FPS is great in 0.51 exp.

    There is no fail-safe. Persistent items not on your person was cleaned up from the dev's side during yesterdays maintainence period. There were warnings here as well as BEC messages on your server that you must have missed. Not all area's are farmable. Some area's produce junk loot quickly, some area's take 30 minutes or so to respawn items, some none at all. The mil bases do not produce high value mil loot on respawn from loot farming just so you know. Reason we know this as fact is we had so much megaloot on our private shard that we had cleanup teams touching objects to create ownership (loot lifetime) so said loot would despawn. Some would pick it up and drop it in the spot the picked it up from, some chose to pick it up and throw it out of the area as to not confuse which items they picked up. Either way, it was a losing battle as the items re-puked all at once and the loot was everywhere…not just high-value area's.

    Good idea about moving them around. Maybe then one could connect a series of them for a base of sorts. I'm thinking welding will be in-game at some point and one could cut a hole in the side to make a 'T' shape for corridors to run into.

    Not really…the wells in Cherno would run dry within a month or two (guessing) on a fully populated server.

  10. Just wanted to share my experience as I've seen posts from both sides of the fence regarding frequency of loot in 0.49. If I'm repeating information, I apologize in advance. I've read many posts from the community asking about the lack of loot. I also see a lot of replies from the community saying loot is everywhere. I was one of those that was wondering where all the loot was... My experience is this: I co-rent/master-admin a server from gameservers with persistence enabled and I can tell you that there is very little loot when you OPT IN to persistence. We've done approx 10 trips around the map, most notably all the military installations on the west side and not a single military weapon or gear in sight. Low-rise barracks, jails, hangars, quonset huts, tent city are completely empty of anything noteworthy. You'll find the occasional pair of boots, mountain backpack, books etc but zero high value weapons/ammo/gear. At one point we tried another server or two [that had persistence ON] and ran into the same issues. The other day, I OPTED OUT of persistence and not only did gameservers respond to my ticket in all of about 3 minutes [usually its 17-24 hours] but also loot was back to normal with out any restarting of the server. It was like bam, loot everywhere. So for those of you that can't find loot anywhere, try another server and look for something in the description that says persistence disabled. Hope this helps!

It is 25 km (16 mi) in diameter and the age is estimated to be 49.0 ± 0.2 million years old (Eocene). The crater is not exposed at the surface.     Of course my reply adds something to the discussion. Deductively, ping has nothing to do with desync in many cases. Not only am I taking the time to answer your question, but I'm also narrowing down your search criteria. I've played on AU servers and Singapore servers with pings of 250-320ms and the game plays fine w/o any lag. No need to be rude little fella. Hope this helps you deduce what is giving you lag.     Experience. Enjoy the shakes while they last. The longer you play the calmer you get. No quick fix here, sorry.

    Your arm is broken. Its a bug. Next time your shaking a lot, apply a splint or morphine and enjoy the difference. Hope this helped!

    We run a private shard on Fragnet and didn't not experience the scheduled cleanup. We were actually looking forward to it. Has any other private shards experienced this clean up? Has any public shard servers experienced this clean up? Thanks for your time.

    [Controller Users] VOTE UP THIS BUG

    One of the new bugs in 0.50 is that controller users can't disable controller support via Configure>Controllers>Devices. The result is that if you use xpadder or motioninjoy you can NOT use your controller. This bug is not on 100% of the time, more like 75%. Not sure what triggers it or not.     I can't afford to buy another controller over a simple bug. Even if I could afford to, I wouldn't. I would rather see this fixed so I can keep using what I've been using. Listen man, you got to reread my original post. I'm not saying this is a priority over anything. The post simply states this is an issue for controller users and I'm looking for folks to vote it up. If people don't bring up an issue to the people, it might get brushed under the rug which is why I posted this in the forum. Controller users are the vast minority so some additional light is needed. Please don't speculate on what you think is acceptable from a developers perspective. You have no idea what their workload is like.

    I originally saw this and saw the four squares, looked down at the next post and looked up to see 16 squares…thought my vision was blurry, rubbed my eyes. Looked up again saw 4 squares, read another post and looked back and saw 16. Repeated another x and realized what was going on. :lol:
