    First of all, there is no private "hive." Its a shard. There is one hive: central...everything else atm is a shard. Secondly, a private shard isn't double price, its a 3rd more. Massive difference. I agree, they are over-priced, but lets not pull random numbers out of the sky. Forced persistence is awesome and its how DayZ SA is meant to be. You're not supposed to get new loot every restart. This is a survival sim, not LootZ. Nuke hack is easily detectable using logs. 15 kills in a very short amount of time with several kills on the same second...easy work.

    For someone that whitelists as much as I do (almost 1000 WL's), the best tool and admin like myself could get is a website called: www.becbans.com. All I need is to know if a GUID has a ban from BEC or not. If it could work like vacbanned.com, that would be optimal. I know BEC is super top secret so reiterating; no need for any personal information, just an acknowledgement ('yes/no' and maybe 'x amount of days since last ban') that said GUID has a BEC ban. :)

    Maybe I got the acronym wrong (apologies), I was referring to BE Client. (http://www.battleye.com). Battle is very secretive with information. I've seen dozens of BE global ban letters from applicants. I edited the thread title to lessen confusion. :) VanValdenburg, BE bans are not global as they say it is. Maybe if you get one on Arma 3, but not global from the mod to SA. I've had people with global BE bans on the mod applying to my project. I myself have accessed their computer via Teamviewer, loaded up the mod and saw the BE ban on several occasions (last one 3-4 weeks ago). First time this happened, I loaded up SA ( because I asked them how they were able to play SA on the same account and they all say the same thing: no issue) just to make sure because I remember Bohemia's thread on reddit taking about the bans being global and wouldn't you know that SA starts and joins servers normally with mod global BE bans.

    Bus Station Map: You Are here

    One of our colonists made this suggestion to me... Put a full map on the side of the stalls at bus stations that can't be taken down. When a player accesses the map it should show a point on the map that says: 'You Are Here.' It would give a realistic effect to the environment.

    Don't play pub anymore, but I'm hearing reports that the rootkit has won the war for the most part. Any validity to this rumor? Played a bit of pub tonight, but spent time looting the north and heading south...zero incidents, but I wasn't in high pop zones. Let us know, curious to learn more!

    Recalibrate Check Pulse

    In my opinion, check pulse is a bit strange in its current state. Every encounter is someone getting super close to check pulse. I don't want people getting close and want to keep an acceptable distance to preserve survival and it turns into running away more times than not. It doesn't feel real to me. So hey, your heart-rate 75 bpm and your name is Joe Shit The Ragman? As a start/experiment, maybe calibrate check-pulse for dead or knocked out players?

    I would like to announce the birth of our 2nd server location in the UK. By popular demand we are now running a 1PP server based in London. Our operators are sweating furiously whitelisting new applicants on a daily basis. If you would like to be whitelisted please refer to this LINK. We haven't had an official event in quite some time, but if you get in this week we are hosting the first ever Prison Break! We don't rehash old idea's (Survivor/Hunger Games) that are several years old. Our staff excel and designing new and interesting events and will continue to keep our community involved with a new experience on a bi-weekly basis.

    Why is it when I played DayZ Mod my connection was junk with 200+ ping servers. In SA I play on 320 ping servers all the time in AU, NZ, Singapore [EXP] with zero effect on gameplay. How does this happen?

    Not true. Human eye recognizes light at 1/10th and can react before 3/10th's. New studies from MIT show the human eye can react @ 0.013 seconds. Not sure if I'm sold on the study, but its out there. Also, not sure what they mean by 'react' as the term has sub categories and laden with ambiguity.
