    It's not just a game, this isn't parcheesi...this is business. When you start paying taxes, it's no longer a game kid. I represent thousands of players in my community that have invested a lot of their money and time. I'm the guy you should be standing behind, not fighting with. I am their voice, I'm not laying down, and I'm fighting until the end. Stop being a cheerleader for these junior year drones. I did it for 7 years, the party is over and it's time to stand up.     He's the one keeping the fire lit, not me. I've been insulted multiple x and I have never once insulted nor called Orlok a name. Orlok is obviously under a lot of stress in his real life and that effects people, trust me - I've been in the same position as him...worse actually. I'm sorry he's going through that with his folks...I really am, but taking out on me isn't cool. Times change, people change, and I'm being called names...thats wrong Max. There are plethora of other options than immature and paranoid. I've contributed quite a bit and I feel like I'm continiously being treated unfairly since I've questioned the motives of the direction with DayZ. Discussions on why devs and additional staff are leaving is important for people to know that are investing their precious time. I don't want this topic locked due to it taking a different direction, but it's not me doing that. I never made this personal and that's a fact.

    Absolutely not. Whats the difference if it's Linkedin or Twitter? It's not true though, it's a fasle claim. Furthermore, it's not just a fucking game, man. I've invested over 333 days (over 8000 hours) of my life in game-play alone and a lot more in community building, server hosting, video editing, world editing, question answering, fund raising for server fee's, etc etc.

    I'm not blowing anything out of proportion. Everybody has left, down to the moderators. It's not the way you type, it's the content of your thoughts. You literally said I'm am paranoid, those are the words you chose to use and thats an insult. Right here below you call me immature. Dress it up however you want to make it look like you didn't say that but you did in fact say I'm being immature when I'm clearly not. Since mid 2012, I've followed everything about DayZ with a fine-toothed comb. I'm real life friends with Bohemia staff from before Arma 2, long before you were here. No I won't give you his name. Almost everything I post is carefully calculated. You're from the old England and I'm from the New England, literally. Nuance wise, we speak the same exact language and that's a fact. In fact, I have a language degree so I'm a bit of an expert in the field. Many mods left because DayZ is a long standing joke since pre-alpha. Devs would run to Musty crew when they ran into coding blocks and Musty would fix it. Prove me wrong. On leave? They've left! They're here 0%. Relatively recently y'all have added forum staff. Hello Games, jeesh. I'm gutted to see you say that. Sean Murray duped the public and got destroyed over it. I followed that IP for years and was the first person to post (when NMS hit Steam Store on Day 1 I noticed no MP and immediately started posting) on why No Man's Sky pulled MP on various platforms before the shit hit the fan. He even tried blaming Sony, made up lies about his Twitter getting hacked, drunk emails to media outlets, you name it. Hello games is a literal joke led by a scoundral who duped the public and stole the Superfomula for NMS from a company called Genicap. Associating them in any way, shape, or form with Bohemia/DayZ makes me very sad. You know whats really interesting? Martin Čulák literally claims to have significantly improve the broken developer/customer communication with DayZ and it's customers. Do you believe that?

    The real reason why there won't be a Roadmap...

    The first few roadmaps naturally had to change because sales blew away early projections. The Playstation deal, then Xbox. That gave them money to improve the game and that shifted the roadmap early on. Building an almost entirely new engine, buying dev companies, training new staff, poor planning, and improvisation all took time and pushed those next roadmap. Bugs, unanticipated roadbloacks, etc pushed the next rm further. All of that is done now and the game is done for the most part. Engine is complete, got some bugs but thats normal. The team is fully immersed, experienced, and seasoned with Enfusion so the problems in the past are simply...history. A new roadmap is in order and I'm extremely confident it would be very accurate. Instead of a 50% margin of error, it would probably have a 15% margin. Zero reason not to have one other than they've cut off some major limbs and the public outcry will tank console interest. Everything is riding on console right now unless they have DLC prepared.

    Which diplomats from the embassy were those? Of course you/they are going to say that. Like if I give you my source('s) that will make it true as compared to false? See how that works? If you cant site your sources they cant be taken at face value..right? When someone makes a claim and the first question coming back is who said that instead of a something like that's not true or etc, it has a very big impact on the validity of the initial statement. Any good interrogator wants to get the source before anything else so they can stomp it out and then proceed with the necessary damage control. A find interesting that you're out here posting diplomats from an embassy told me (you) something about BI's best kept secret, but we can't even get ImpulZ, Eugen, White 'no idea whats in the game' Glasses, Doris, or anybody posting about the current state of certain bugs - like the combination lock or cars blowing up all over the map. You kind of remind me of Paul Ritter (Anatoly Dyatlov), from the Chernobyl series right now. No, the reactor didn't blow...thats not graphite!

    Why, so you can run to the brass? Dean was absolutely looking for the quickest buck which is why he didn't sell it to anybody other than Bohemia. He literally said that in a video (not the quick buck part verbatim), I can't find it right now but I will and I'll post it. He talks about the offers and said he didn't do it because they would have to redo it from the beginning and he didn't want to do that. Thats pretty much what happened with Enfusion. Am I wrong?

    It's a joke. It's David Durcak who was originally set to replace Dean when he left. Hicks ended up taking that spot. David is a bit of a mystery...he still works for DayZ and makes the occasional retweet. But he's never brought up and nobody talks about him. Misinformation. Dean left because he didn't want to deal with Enfusion, ask any closed alpha tester. Dean also said on twitter/instagram recently he had a nervous breakdown during DayZ. Game creators dont normally leave shortly after release of an Early Access title, creative directors do NOT typically QUIT right before 1.0, and lead designers do not typcially leave during critical stages of final development. Everybody is quitting...don't panic? No roadmap telling you what you're going to get after 5.5 years of SA development...dont' panic? We dont't talk to the master race anymore because your kind isn't buying enough from us...don't panic? We're pushing out broken builds now and NO we will NOT answer your basic questions, you'll get what you get when we decide you get it so DEFINTELY...don't panic? That guy with the white glasses on the Xbox live stream who doesn't know what guns, cars, or features are coming to the build after 5.5 years...don't panic? When you call our phone and you hear crickets on the other end...don't panic? What a fair comparison! Lead Designer is as important to an office as an office cleaner, hmm. OK!

    It's not always, it's a case by case basis and in this case, everyone here should be alarmed when the lead designer abruplty leaves...especially after its creative director left abruptly before 1.0. Hicks didn't exactly progress his career (inXile Entertainment isn't exactly a move up), so why is Nespesny moving on to bigger and better things by default? I obviously wish him the best and stuff (I liked how he wanted to make things harder), but we don't know anything. The state of the game right now is in the balance. DayZ did the meat of it's PC sales in the first year to year and a half which was over 2M copies, this is 5.5 years later and sales are at a stand still at around 4M with the last 2-3 years selling less than ~500k PC copies. There used to be viewable figures at SteamSpy.com but now it says this: "Access restricted. This feature is only available to users with special access rights. Sorry." I actually have a screenshot from March 9th, 2017. The below figure was slighlty off and an edit came in shortly after that said they were right under 4M in sales. I think they're still around 4M in PC sales. Look at the release of DayZ and look at the requirements for Valve and Early Access. Dean wasn't being cool in telling people not to buy the game because it has bugs/unfinished/etc, thats actually a requirement of Valves Early Access program. They pushed a bunch of broken tools out just to meet those requirements at 1.0. Legally, DayZ can stop development on PC at any time now. Since those Valve requirements have been met, DayZ has gone increasingly radio silent with the public at large. I think it's time to be alarmed and worried. I never jumped on the Dean took the money and ran and supported DayZ up and down like a cheerleader at times. But dang man, if the writing isn't on the wall. Leadership roles are a death sentence at BI and we shouldn't be alarmed at this point in time?

Lets not quibble about a word that not only stands on it own as a definition, but also is easily a synonym for leave/withdraw from/stop etc. Quit /kwit/ leave (a place), usually permanently resign from (a job). stop or discontinue (an action or activity). Yea, what are you thinking?

    This is DayZ responding to some console peasant... I guess they can repro it now. Why can't they just answer us instead of PS4 players? All it takes is a few seconds. The way we're getting treated is very disrespectful.

    Here is a thought...

    Another thing I've been saying for years is, where the hell is a player going to keep a helicopter? The mod was different because players didn't play the entire map and you could hide stuff in the woods up north. There was a circle cut-out close to where Svet is now I used to hide my helicopter. It still got found, but it took months and months. People will go nuts for like 72 hours, then the complaints, then the rage, then they quit and go back to whatever they were doing before and all the hype ends.

    You're playing on the wrong servers. I have infected modded on my servers (without client crashes) and people die to infected every single day. So it's not too hard I've made a mod to slow infected down to the reasonable portion so players can still escape the horde with 30%-40% stamina. Mistakes still get made.

    The 3rd and last update was not received well. Issues with the locks have gone undiscussed. Y'all pushed a confirmed broken update out. Gunthers weren't even in the game. I had to code my own spawns. Cars are blowing up and sitting on their sides, not a peep from staff. So what if you would rather avoid it? Most people would avoid going to work everyday, but they have to put their pants on and go anyway. We've been here a long time, some of us longer than others. Why does complaints from kids effect a professional development company so badly? Complaints are part of the business. The roadmap doesn't need to be pinpoint reliable, we just want to see whats in there. OK there are challenges ahead, batten down the hatches and make due. This isn't understandable at all actually. I really don't understand any of it.
