Hello there Have you seen the state of some other forums? We keep this one relatively clean. Plus we are very, very relaxed in comparison to some forums not to far from here internetwise. We try to maintain the balance with giving users alot of flexibility over what they are allowed to get away with but that "freedom" has a flip side. Although some parts of the forums might not be ideal, we are aware of it but Rome was not built in a day. Labeling the forums as a cluster**** isnt going to win you much love from the mods here either. Rgds LoK

Hello there BE is here to stay. I trust it completely. Will there be the odd hiccup with it during production of the game? Possibly Is it actually BE or is it DAYZ's fault? Well you'll have to ask the devs. Will any wrinkles be ironed out? Yes. Is patience key? Yes. Does it infuriate a vast number of scripters/hackers? Oh my, yes. BE works. Hello there The team are using books that are out of copyright and on the whole the most well known ones are the best. If you have any suggestions on out of copyright books let us know. Remember the devs are aware of all the regular libraries for these. Rgds LoK

Should I get Arma 2 expansions?

Hello there You will have the skins/meshes but the skins are at an ultra low resolution. Dont forget that the expansions come with Arma mini campaigns missions etc, theyre alot of bang for your buck armawise. Rgds LoK -

Hello there Whilst it is a nice gesture, folk just do not read all the stickied threads, or indeed the rules. Can you honestly say you have? Not many can. Regardless, If a four hour flash animation popped up when logging in explaining the above to all users it will not stop those who just *have* to mash the keyboard about *their* thing. We have many many many great members, the majority in fact, but as with any club/gang/forum it only takes the action of small minority to mess things up. Your best bet for a decent forum is to use the report button wisely. Rgds LoK

Hello there Im going to close this as its pointless. A quick search will give you many posts about the current spawning areas. It is known. If you wish something to be done then report it to the bug tracker or use an existing thread. Lastly it IS Alpha. Hello there Worry not about Battleye. If you don't cheat you shouldn't notice its there. In all my years of using it, I've only had one instance where it dint update correct and I had to manually re install it which took me mere minutes to do. Personally, I trust BE implicitly. Rgds LoK

Hello there Different parts of the team do different jobs, so there's folk forging ahead with their predetermined todo list who have little to do with the bugs that you are talking about. Adding items needs to be done regardless and their possible issues worked out by the chaps who deal with that side of things. Not all skillsets/workloads crossover seamlessly. Rgds LoK -

Hello there The fact that the BE rep relied to you so many times, to me, shows that they do take time to deal with people. Personally, I would have not been so inclined to bother had I had to deal with hundreds of similar emails. Yes it "sucks" that you have possibly had your CD key compromised but it is up to you to look after your PC and the data it contains. Again, this level of customer service to me is a plus, however I can understand why OP wont see that. Rgds LoK -
