Hello there If playing DAYZ or Arma then i use the ingame voip as much as possible. Same with any other games with a built in voice comms. If the game doent have comms built in then i mainly use TS. Rgds LoK

Hello there Personally, I dont give a hoot about DAYZ's connection to any of the Arma games and whether its "cannon" in its background story or not. In fact, im not bothered about the history at all IF it has no bearing on the game. Its nice to have, but even if the devs said there was no story or make of it what you will, ill still be happy. Saying that though, it would make sense if it were brought into the official Bohemia timeline or was seen as an alternate history version of it. But, if a certain weapon is in the Armaverse and not in DAYZ (or visa versa) im not going to angst over it. It is interesting how many folk really get into different aspects of games. Rdgs LoK

Hello there You would need a slow and quiet round as well, also dont get me onto revolvers and gangsta "tato silencers" On the whole i really dont thing its worth the effort for the result. Hello there Ok fair enough. But you fully understand my point. You know that. Nonetheless, if you dont like the rules simply dont rent them. They will not be changed at this point. I am actually pro a PvE or SP experience (if separated from the PvP hive) but if they are not ever allowed, I wont stomp and scream or cut of my nose to spite my face by not buying any new Arma titles (different game) Id personally like to play on every type of server both PvP or PvE depending on my mood. But would I rent a server and deliberately break the rules? Nope. Would I be patient and wait and see what may happen in the future? Yup. Rgds LoK

Names are not "illegal" but it does it is an indicator. Servers are tested before they are shut. If you rent a flat where the lease states "no animals" and you want to take a dog into it but you are denied, whos lost the grasp on how the world works there? If you know the rules and dont like them you simply dont rent the server. L

Hello there Dont forget that AK was only a placeholder and that the weapons and models in the SA are of a far higher "quality" and resolution compared to the mod. Also the old AK probably used old Arma ballistics. You cannot compare it to the new model, it just doesnt work like that. Rdgs LoK

Hello there You will very rarely get a timestamp on an item until its damn close to release, as they can bite you in the bum. Zeds are being worked on and are being recreated codewise, so dont hold your breath. Rgds LoK
