The reason we dislike far right right wing music on the whole is that they are more likely to preach hate than say "left wing bands". We dislike that. Im sorry but like "free speech" that does not fully exist here. You have to think of this forum as a pub/bar for example. It has certain rules. Some of which you may disagree with. So if they say "no football shirts or no gang colours" then you either change your clothes or go somewhere else. This happened to me the other day, I was barred entry to a pub for having steel toecapped boots. Do I agree? No. Did I abide by their rules? Yes. If I ever wish to go their I simply have to change my footwear. Problem solved. We also dont ban on request. you are here as a guest and you can either leave or stay, but you must abide by our rules even if you see them as "wrong". So far you have not warranted any warnings which again shows you are not being unfairly picked on. If I were to repress you I would simply ban you for no reason. Again, you are welcome to post, but you must respect our rules. Ive kept this public as there does seem to be a misconception that everyone can act as they want or post as they want. This is incorrect. We are very very very lax in general and only tend to tighten the screws know and then but there are limits and this applies to trolling/spamming etc etc etc. Now, if you disagree with my or any other mods actions please PM a "green" mod or indeed any other mod so they can investigate. Hello there IMHO you are confusing or at least mixing up two completely different aspects. Im all for less "consolian" "hand holding" games but i am definitely against "griefing". Having a game that's difficult and away from the norm does not equate to one that deliberately goes out of its way to spite you or indeed encourages its playerbase to be an idiot. DAYZ style games were much more the norm "back in the day". Unfortunately idiots are still just as prevalent. I am probably what most folk would label as a "carebear" but does that mean I wont take part in PvP (or that I dont enjoy it?) Absolutely not. I do tend to prefer SP or PvE due to the times and situation in which I personally play. If I were "free-er" Id love to get into more hardcore PvP. The difference is that im not a dick when I play. Thats what a griefer is. Its someone who causes grief to another player. Now, if its within the "established" rules of the game (written or not) then its not griefing IMHO. For eg Newspawn sniping is griefing. as there's very little the newspawn can do to combat it. There's no written rule saying you cant do it. but if you do, you most likely are being a dick and therefore are griefing as you are deliberately ruining someone else's game play in a lazy non constructive way. Now, in other games like BF3 for example I didnt mind people base camping me as I spawn quickly and fully kitted out and have often had a great time battling my way back out to defeat the enemy although I wouldnt do it to someone myself. I want this game to be challenging and to not lead my by the hand but i do not want it to encourage "dick" play. I may well encounter them, I have no issue with that but I dont want it encouraged, I want something neutral I can pour my self into that give me more options than headhunting or farming daises. Excuse my disjointed rambling, im trying to cook as i type this. Essentially Carebear/Griefer and a perma death FPS roguelike are not the same thing. Rgds LoK

Hello there There are a limited number of things to do in game after a certain time especially once you are geared up and able to survive what the environment can throw at you. But then it's "imagination time!" Being a KoSer takes no imagination whatsoever but that doesnt mean you cant be a bandit, just try being a constructive one. Feeding a toon bleach or executing them is IMHO unoriginal and closed ended. If you do become a bandit why not make the whole encounter more memorable? ie give em a fair (small) chance to escape? "accidently" leave some useful gear on them. That makes things much more tense and adds to the experience for both of you. Just dont go down the lazy "hurr durr" route IMHO Rdgs LoK

Hello there Ill have to pull you up on that. Give us proof when you make statements like this. I too agree the mere yell of ALPHA! and (rabid fanboi-ism) is not enough in many arguments and discussions, but on the flip side nor is being a "hater" and making mountains out of molehills. I dont see where you get the snails pace of development. Compared to many games the development is very speedy. My only real gripe is the devs lack of regular communication that feeds visibly through all forms of communication. That is one area which could be IMHO improved. I dont have a solution to that though so dont make a song and dance about it. Keeping it real is a good ideal but its a blade that cuts both ways. Rgds LoK

Hello there Constructive discourse on flaws is absolutely encouraged. Pointless whinging is not. (thats not to say any one here is) If we had been waiting for ages for a promised patch and no info was forthcoming, I too would raise concerns. But, if you buy a game about cheese and then gripe that you hate cheese based games, then you simply cannot be helped. Be constructive in your feedback if you really want to contribute. Being a blind "fanboi" is no better than being a "hater" TBH the devs can do whatever they please. It is their game. But, they are not that bloody minded and do listen to your feedback, but the less decent feedback there is, in a thread or even a forum, the less attention the devs will pay. Rgds LoK

Hello there To my eyes it doesnt sound as if you , like many others, have much patience. We are lucky we have something playable at this stage and the amount of hours some players have put in is astounding. For those moaning and complaining about a bit of downtime or a delayed incremental should really consider putting the game aside until it it properly released and then come back. The turn around time of updates is surprisingly fast. Downtime is to be expected. It states that in all those lovely disclaimers. The issue here is that folk wanted to play the game NOW and are upset that they cant. I can understand that to a degree, but you guys knew that before you purchased. We even stickied a thread where where dean tell you NOT to buy it. Now, those of us who did dip into our wallets did so to assist in pushing the game further than its planned milestones and we have achieved that. But in so doing so, we have raised the bar even higher which in turn will lengthen the dev time. As to an earlier poster saying just to stuff new content in no matter how sloppy....... massive facepalm. Multiple palms and faces everywhere. One of the "issues" is that dean is a perfectionist. This is to our benefit and detriment(ish). I chatted to him about how hard he drives his designers for example, so that new models hit a certain standard of quality. This means thinks like the AKM/47/s (whichever version) etc are not just insta ported in from Arma. So, although he could get away with it he does not want to take the lazy and sloppy route but rather wants to deliver as a fresh new experience as is possible. (Before anyone yells "chernarus!!111!11!" really, no i mean really take a long good look at how its different and enhanced. As to Bohemia selling off the game... gut feeling does not proof make. Ive a gut feeling Matt is going to ask me to move in with him in Prague. I dont really think its going to happen. Lets stick to facts shall we? Lastly "Studio" has several meanings, it doesnt just mean a building. Rgds LoK
