Hello there The key config can be a little tricky at the moment, but essentially almost everything can be rebound. DAYZ supports double tapping of keys in the setup so you should be able to find the culprit and set it to one of your choosing. Let us know if you succeed in your endeavours. Rgds LoK -

Bwahahahahahahahahahaha! TBH mortars dont really fit in, but then again items such as this are common in small outposts. They are easy ti implement as well as we have seen in Arma. I wouldnt really mind mortars as they are not all that accurate (in arma) and could be effective against snipers. Gotta be rare and ammo once initially scavenged should be almost impossible to find. Hello there Griefing to me is intentionally ruining or spoiling someone's experience. It doesnt mean breaking the "rules" either. In Dayz its harder to pin down though. My fave example is sniping new spawns on the beach. It adds nothing to the game IMHO. But its not a solid one. Hmmm it is difficult to quantify in DAYZ. I suppose its just "being a dick". I need to think about this. hmmmmm Rgds LoK

Hello there I've closed this to give us some breathing space. Advice to follow. Firstly you need the right area of the forums. http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/forum/16-mod-servers-private-hives/ Secondly put the full server name in the title. Namalsk isnt enough. Thirdly make sure you include all the details. Fourthly wait. The admins may not frequent the boards. If I were you id try to find a better way to contact them. Why The Distinction Between Civilian/Military Weapons Is Bad, And You Should Feel Bad

Hello there To me the distinction between Civilian and Military weapons is as one of the above posters said. Military is still in use or recent Civilian is either out of service or never widely adopted by he military. Obviously this does not cover every eventuality. Id like to see more civ style weapons as in my mind it fits the DAYZ ethos better. If I want millions of guns I play Arma. Thats just how I think. Not necessarily God given truth handed down on a stone tablet, just how I feel. Hello there Many people have sunk hundreds of hours into the SA release, which means for an alpha its very playable on the whole. Dont "expect" to play the game fully until its release then you wont be dissapointed. Rgds LoK

Hello there I was not referring to you. My point was, and always will be, that griefing is equal to being a bit of a dick. Banditry is not. If you KOS out of fear then to me that is not griefing either, although it doesn't add alot gamewise IMHO but that's just my humble opinion. rgds LoK
