It's far from a finished product at the moment, as as you know, this is early access so one can help assist steer development of the game. Hello there I do like the idea of there being Out Of Place weapons in game as there is some precedent to including them. But, they doo need to be on the rarer end of the spectrum Id like to see the tables go in this kiind of order from most to least available: Civilian plinkers and agricultural shotties and pest control weapons Sport and Civilian tacticool OOP Police/Militia Military Military Rare and heavy Military OOP Rifles Lastly, bear in mind we are veering of which smg we think might me included so lets try to steer it back. Hello there Ok, you've washed up on the shores of an unknown continent. You check your pockets and inspect your clothing. What next? Here's some handy tips for survival in the harsh environment. Note: Half the fun of the game is learning how to do things yourself, so sometimes I may not go into super detail so as to give you something to do. I'm nice like that. 1. Torches Buddy, why cant I turn it on? See that battery in your inventory? It needs to go into the torch. Then you can "turn on". Guy, I still cant see. The light looks like it's off to my left? You need to "raise your weapon". Check your keybinds. Your arms are in one of two positions "up" (or aimed) and "down" (relaxed) When you have an item in your hands and you want to actively use it, use that "raise your weapon" key. 2. Falling Unconscious Friend, I randomly fall unconscious! There's a BUG. Remember its an ALPHA, we are looking into this as you read this. Walk as much as possible for now. 3. Sleep Buddy, I feel the need to sleep or take a nap? Dont worry! Just eat and drink and that will take care of it for you. Logical? Nah, Alpha? Yes! 4. Fighting Guy, I'm being chased by an infected Zombiething/guy in pants, I don't have a weapon what can i do? Fight! That's what! No Survivor is truly unarmed, not while we have our fists. With an empty hand simply raise your fists (use that key I told you about earlier in no 1 tip) and then hit using your primary fire key. Notice how you opponent reacts to your blows. Im not convinced by the MP5. I do think if we had a zillionand one weapons, then to include the MP5 would be fine. It might be worldwide available but "feels" wrong to me for DAYZ. Rgds LoK

Hello there It's not rockets defence Im coming to, but anyone who's micro analysed. Im positive if you went through all my posts you'd find loads of contradictions of phrases which dont represent what I mean. If rocket made a post explicity stating X or Y then thats one thing, taking a fragment of an interview and flagging it up as "Dean Hall encourages server hopping" Thats a very different thing to asking about it, thats a statement. Hello there Ive never had the opportunity to use the mosin in DAYZ, but in Arma3 distand sniping is not all that easy due to wind and bullet drop. Is wind not inherently in? It could be that with the current DAYZ mosin cfg the round is too powerful and wind has little effect? Rgds LoK
