Could polarisation of the community be hurting development of the game?

Hello there What we do have is a selection of boarderline trolls and the occasional uninformed ranter. When these folk rear their heads many rush to slap them down and poke holes in their lack of logic and facts. In my mind blind fanboyism is as pointless as the trolling. We want, nay NEED constructive criticism and discussion but its the troublesome posts that get the attention. I don believe there's any polarisation. There's many elements im not a fan of in DAYZ but on the whole the pros outweigh the cons. Rgds LoK -

Hello there Why the copy and paste? Also the SA is only a fail in your eyes. Hack friendly? um.... The game has always been advertised as a survival no handholding game. Nutrition is important. His dev career is pretty much impossible to break at this stage. I wish I was half as unfortunate as him. It looks like Wasteland or a similar is far better for you than the SA. Rgds LoK

Hello there "Can you run it" and such sites are never the be all and end all to rate performance of an individual system. Be aware of that I tend to get higher frames in DAYZ than A3 although A3 is very playable my fps is definitely less. So although a machine may be able to play both, dont expect a similar performance on lower end machines. Rdgs LoK

Hello there The devs do visit and we pass on interesting posts. But by nature they do tend to do more realtime and Social media type communication. Hick was chatting to us about the forums and some posts only an hour or two ago. Rgds LoK

hello there TBH for many casual system admins you shouldn't be renting a server. Many of you are arguing as if the game has been fully released. It hasnt. This is a TEST phase, luckily for you the game is in a playable enough state that you can get on and enjoy yourself. if you rent a server you MUST abide by the rules given. If you cannot abide those rules DO NOT rent a server. Its very simple. The rules will relax and change as we get closer to release. I KNOW this situation causes issues, we are all aware of them but this is the situation and one has to adapt to it. Rdgs LoK

Hello there If the sight or rail is compatible then I dont see why not. if however the rail system is not compatible or the weapon simply cannot host one then I think that should be the limiter. Just like reality. Rgds LoK

hello there Same old thread. The RV engine has been ported before and most likely will again. The prospect of DAYZ on consoles will have no impact on the current games development. There's zero to worry about. If consoles don't pick up dayz then meh who's worried? Rgds LoK
