Hello there You see we do agree to an extent on this as you have made a similar point as the op BUT without insinuating or being snide, which is appreciated. I wish the whole dev team posted here more in general. We all do. But as has been explained many times before there are reasons for this. Is it an ideal situation? No. Are we doing our best to keep the devs informed of what goes on here and feed back appropriate info? Yes. Will demands that they post here work? No. Do they Lurk here? yes. Hello there We are actually discussing forum matters and threads with the devs everyday. (in fact I was chatting with Matt a moment ago on forum matters) Im in touch with Hicks or Matt almost everyday as well. Even if im just sat in a chat channel with them. I dont chat to rocket everyday but I see him about regularly. As to posting uber regularly here, no they dont as a often as reddit but we've been over the reasons for that so many times. Hello there I think many of us do actually understand the CoD/BF analogy but on the other hand it is good to be clear and concise. Regardless, man hug time? As to the weapons, im sure that they are all available somewhere in the locale but, to me, although I love them they'd have to be damn rare to be included to please my sensibilities. Hello there I feel that many remember the Arma community with somewhat rose tinted memories. No one remembers the Tking on public servers in A2? I dont really remember A1 other than I had a great time. But even at the beginning in A2 there were those who would deliberately mess things up for other players. Thats why so many private servers started to pop up. KoS folk on the whole leave me cold, its the simplest way to play but leaves almost no chance for exciting player interaction. To me, its the unknown that is scary. And dealing with a life player is full of unknown variables. no, I dont think the community as a whole is poo, but there are many idiots out there in the real world who thrive for "teh lulz" and they can really mess up one's day. that coupled with a lack of gaming mechanics at the moment does "force" folk down the pure PvP route.
