Hello there If you watch any of my Shooting range vids, the majority of misses I make are down to my fault and less to dispersion, I too find the current dispersion in DAYZ too much. https://www.youtube.com/user/orlok1960 BUT Its early days (no pun intended) and I expect all the weapons to be majorly tweaked once ingame although at a later stage. Hello there Indeed one does not have to be a fan and raising legitimate concerns and constructive criticism is key. I think DAYZ *will* be very nich and I imagine many folk who liked modified versions of the mod may well not like its direction. But as with Arma 3 once it is open to modding, as I believe it will be, you will see many different versions appear to cater to all playstyles. Personally, Im not a fan of A3's "24 hours into the future" setting (models are superb though) but as mods come out to take it to era's i like (1944 and 1990's) I find im playing it more and more, just like its predecessors. I see the same thing with DAYZ. Rgds LoK

Hello there AMD cards do have an issue with ATOC sometimes. Have you checked the bugtracker? Ive not noticed any issues with my older ATi card. Rdgs LoK

Hello there Im, just throwing this out there and its no way on the cards AFAIK, but it just popped into my mind. But if "exotic" weapons used their nearest common counterpart would that be an issue to you or perfectly acceptable. Ie a Eastern Bloc SMG using "standard" 9mm? Or AN Other Assault rifle using 7.62? Or for example "generalising" all types of shotgun shell to just buck/slug/pellet? Would that be an issue? Would it be an issue if it meant more weapon diversity? This is purely from MY brain its nothing ive discussed with the devs for example. Rgds LoK

Hello there I just think the devs have more on their minds with the engine as a whole and what they want to do with it than to concentrate on "exotic" weaponry. I think the goal is to get a load of standard weaponry in covering the "basics" to be used throughout testing and then add different "exotic" calibers etc later. I don't think it lessens the chance of the VSS appearing, I just think its part of a set to be added down the line. Its such an Iconic weapon both from the USSR and the Apocalyptic scenario I just don't see it not being included at some stage. However that stage may be far off. Im not worried judging by the tone of the tweet. Rgds LoK

Hello there "placeholder" and "alpha" are not dirty words and if they arr accurate then its correct to use them. They are not however an absolute answer or retort. Obviously one is free to express one's thoughts on any subject/topic that's within the rules. As to the GUI not being a priority, well I know for a fact that is not true BUT feel free to knock ideas around all decent ideas are wanted. Rgds LoK -
Hello there Who needs facts when you have naysayers and speculation? The development is forging ahead, but its easier to suspect and find fault than it is to praise and support. I think if DAYZ were such a "rip off" or lazy build the sectors news agencies would be all over us like a cheap suit. Funny how that's NOT happening, This should tell you something about the general state of play. Development may not be happening as fast as some might like, but those folk on the whole have little idea of the development process or of many business practices in general. And we need to take that into account. These folk see "DLC"''s being pumped out for AA games and assume its that "easy". Or worse, compare it to the mod and its spin off's. rgds LoK

Hello there I would like the mechanic for picking up things revamped entirely. As for the cursor to be turn on and offable by the server or by the player on "easy" servers. Also for the "easy" servers a circular aiming ring as pointed out above by e47 would be nice. Rgds LoK -

Hello there AFAIK the text messages are "placeholders" (yeah, that word again). There should be a more subtle and more intuitive system inbound at a later date. Bear in mind when we were discussing this with the devs it was a long time ago so much may have changed. Rgds LoK -
