Hello all I think one issue is that some admins in general may be under the impression that they have total control over a server, as in Arma and don't bother to read or recognise the TOS which often ends up in issues "like" this. Other info has come up which makes this particular instance different, but I'm talking in general. I also think that threats of griefing the server (allowed or not) does NOT show a very good attitude. If the Admin is wrong its up to the devs/etc to penalise them not the players. (although I understand their angst) rgds LoK

Hello there There's need for "both" general types of players, so why not simply have one type of server "pure" Dayz and another type "Relaxed" where either FF is off or reduced. Different characters for both, so no farming. A bit more infrastructure would be needed, but it's a quick and dirty fix. rgds LoK

Hello, IMHO less than lethal weapons would be interesting, but could be abused by trolls. I've been in a death/resurrection loop in an old old MMO RPG and that was no fun, i can see similar things happening unless properly thought through. Less than lethal weapons do sound interesting though. rgds LoK

Hello there Degrade (not known as FADE anymore) usually turns you into a bird after some time playing as well as other crippling issues. I would contact the Devs on the Bohemia Forums rather than the chaps here. Can you join non dayz MP games with no issue? Try ALL the alternatives before raising the issue. Rgds LoK

If you don't follow these rules your request/e-mail will be ignored! Otherwise your individual case will be carefully investigated. No one is banned for using non-hack programs (like Fraps, overlays, etc.), picking up or using hacked in-game items, weapons or vehicles, being on a server at the same time as a cheater, or other passive non-cheating activity. Therefore all requests mentioning these things as possible reasons for the global ban are ignored. A shared or stolen cd-key is no excuse. It's your own responsibility to ensure that no one else has access to it. Include your exact (!) global ban ID. The ID is shown in your global ban message ("Global Ban #ID"). If you don't include it your request will be ignored. Do not tell stories. Whatever you are saying about yourself or your situation won't matter. The only thing that matters is the evidence that is gathered for every global ban issued. Do not ask for the evidence behind your ban. No details about it will be revealed. Hackers would love to have access to this information. Do not beg for mercy. If you cheated you will have to live with the consequences. Global bans are permanent and no exceptions will be made. Questions regarding how exactly to get unbanned will be ignored. No support will be given on how to buy a new game or change your cd-key. Again, if you don't follow these rules your request will be ignored! Note that you will not receive a response if the evidence clearly indicates that you or someone else using your cd-key cheated. No need for that, He was being polite and was trying to assist. He is quite correct as well. Also, this system is open to abuse. I can be annoyed at a server and then post that servers details. Or if I want a quieter server so I can farm, I post a warning and then can farm to my hearts content. Like the poster you insulted, I also applaud your sentiments.
