Hello there As others have pointed out BE just have to cover their back with EULAS and T&C's Almost every one that you agree to makes a point of taking NO liability for your computer "blowing" up. Has that ever happened? No. This is the usual old scare tactic "omg! they are out to take our liberty and guns/pron/cheese etc". Yes, it is good to question authority because some companies will try to get away with all sorts of nonsence, but if one *really* wants to defend their internet/pc privacy, please look first into the actions of your own Secret Services or that of supposed "allies" first as you can bet they are doing stuff without a nice agreeable flash screen. Dont forget you dont have to install or agree with BE. Its your choice. But you cant have your cake and eat it. Rgds LoK

I would like to see regular wipes, but thats from a players view, there may well be very good dev reasons for not wiping on a regular basis. How often in my utopia would I like to see it? Perhaps fortnightly. Would it achieve anything? Be workable? Who knows? Rgds LoK

Hello there IMHO not cheating but definitely exploiting. Practices to be frowned upon IMHO. I understand why folk do it, but dont condone it. Hopefully mechanics will be in place to discourage "lazy" behavior at some stage. Fingers crossed. Rgds LoK

Hello there At the moment the devs are still stripping the "ship" that is the code. Everytime they fix one hole, they will see another thats still letting "water" in. There will be not one single "fix all exploits" patch, its a constant ongoing process. Also, as they are still welding on bits of superstructure and attaching new hull space, expect new holes to turn up. Only when the game is launched will we see the game in a seaworthy condition and there may well be a couple of dribbles still coming onboard. Right, I need to get my sea men ready. Rgds LoK

Hello there I think his point has merits. A better system would be to disable access to a particular server for a set amount of time. That way one cant get their old gear back through friends and death actually has a major impact even if the server ban is for 15 to 20 minutes. That way they can still play but not on the server of choice. No downtime. Rgds LoK

Hello there I can envision lots of mods. A hardcore Hunting sim. One of those awful "life" RP games. (awful IMHO but if you like them, then thats groovy) A wasteland esque version sans Zeds. Arma Armageddon mod would be rather fitting on a DAYZ platform to. Rgds LoK
