Hello there If Bohemia doesn't care, why the frequent beta patches? DLC's? support in their forums from the dev's? Even if their is a hint of truth to this, it's probably some jumped up salesperson trying to boost the customers egos for a sale, or to look cool in front of the military by putting the common person down. Hello there Your poll (unintentionally) is /can be slightly misleading due to the wording. I'd expand on it a little. For me, I rarely go online now, not just due to scripts but the general PVP only attitude. I have plain Arma if I want to pure PVP. rgds LoK

Hello there I think it's good you've had these ideas, but bear in mind the limitations of the engine as well as the general ethos of the game. Lastly, a quick search will show that some of your suggestions have been covered before. spikes - could be interesting - can be done with engine and could be obtainable from policemen/cars super soakers - molotovs - can be done with engine - i think the molotov's could be an idea but supa soakers seems a bit *B* movie/4 teh lulz to me. Boat faster / shoot - both doable boats are a little slow IHMO - shooting from deck / vehicle *is* doable but has never AFAIK never been properly implemented in arma. AA guns - ingame (a2) - I think a little OP for the gamestyle unless at a mil airport. Fishing - why not? Bolts - available in packs - again why not? Infected - I also like this, it has been suggested in a few threads and is usually shot down. Horses/Ponies - I would imagine that they are all food now. Plus the anims would be a pain to pull off IMHO. Boombox/radio as a lure - why not? Melee weapons - I'm sure there are more coming, but remember the RV engine as it stands isn't great for melee. Hello all Not a problem :) OP clearly states that he *did* use a script. I'm all for a perm ban. Sorry to be harsh but the popularity of DAYZ has the script kiddies overflowing into Arma and Iron Front. But, as per usual, this has meant Bohemia has some more pennies in it's coffers, so that's the good aspect to the story. I use FRAPS as a matter of course due to hax/scripts or accusations and I almost exclusively play on BE enabled servers. Ive not had any issues. Rgds LoK

Hello there without getting personal, and remember it's easy to be polite, I also believe that even when there is little cover it's better to run BUT this is dependant on ranges/weapons etc. But on the whole If i see dirt kick up near me I will leg it. Hello there OP i have to disagree. with going prone. If i'm shooting at you and you drop I know where you are AND i'm already pretty much zeroed in on you regardless of your smaller silhouette. Run and run like the wind. Not toward or away from the shooter, that is also bad, but to right angles. It sounds counter intuitive but can give you valuable seconds to get to hard cover. Hello Have you seen the amount of mods out there for arma2? And their diversity? Making a zombie/rpg/mmo-esque game out of a milsim is testament to it's modability. It's also one of the issues that leaves the game open to script kiddies. rgds LoK

Hullo there It's been around awhile. In dayz and arma2 as well. Some attribute it to Heli spawns, others to script kiddies. I also see it on IFL PvP servers occasionally, no helos there. Planes though. Keep an open mind. Rgds LoK

Hello there Recording to another HDD give me little or no fps drop. Be aware filesizes can be huge, so you'll need to have great bandwidth to upload the vids or compress them and loose some quality. Rgds LoK
