My fellow mods and I are on the forums 24/7 (excellent timezone planning) and we do try our best to keep order *and* have a relaxed atmosphere for all. Hello there Nope my chum was with his mates and was definitely not inexperienced. Although seeing a friend "lose it" and effectively become a vegetable did stop all my mate from ever taking shrooms ever again. i suppose I become a bit of a grump when drugs are mentioned is that I wouldnt like to see DAYZ give a false and "cool" impression of them. But on the flip side, its not DAYZ's place to be an educational drugs tool. Drugs are a serious business and we shouldnt take them lightly, also it's not so much the drugs themselves which are "bad" but the whole infrastructure surrounding the production and import of them and what they fund. Regardless, Im guilty of derailing, so I will bow out of the conversation after this... I'd like to see recreational drugs in game but they need to have the possible negatives as well as the positives. Rgds LoK

Like me, he doesnt need to shout to be noticed. Were just glorious enough. But on topic, yeah TS doesnt seem to get in the way for me. If you fancy using it on your phone/laptop or whatever, there should be no issue and you might be saving a few cycles if you PC isnt up to par. But on the whole its fine to run on your main rig. Hello there Ive been reliably "informed" that Shrooms really dont have quite that an hallucinogenic effect although they can be quite brain twisting. It might be interesting to have them in game but I doubt one could really get a sense of the effect they have, although some of the visuals could be implemented but its more like overlayed SFX rather than full blown "pink elephants". (So Im told) and the *feeling* of euphoria/giggling and nausea would be hard to portray. Drugs are bad, kids remember that. Rgds LoK

Hello there The issue is that folk like to find holes and take things out of context. No matter how many 20 foot neon signs we erect outside every users home stating all the facts someone, somewhere will find a quote or will piece together some "logic" which disproves something we've said. Factor in general human error and "loose lips" and you can pretty much furnish the conspiracy theorist with as much ammo as the need to make up almost any narrative. Look at the moon landings. people still think they didnt happen. And there's a lot more facts and logic out there about that than the game. Trust Hick's word for he speaketh the truth. IMHO he's no spin doctor and is a pretty straight up guy. I annoy him often and greatly and I still think that for a PR esque kind of chap he's still fairly human and decent. Rggds LoK

Hello there I re read your post,I feel Im missing something. Can you pretend i have the understanding capacity of a small tangerine and re explain? Are you stating then that the Server hosters themselves are tolerating it? Again, if that were the case then surely BIS would threaten to remove their contract as it would be doing them a huge disservice. I still find it hard to believe that money is the pure motivator. Hello there Hosters take a look at the server and if they find any wrong doing they usually issue a warning. After 3(?) the server is taken away from them AFAIK. We report them too, some hosters tend to move faster than others. Obviously the more proof one can supply the more evidence there is. Dont forget that the hosters are dealing with all sorts of tickets as well as "false" claims, so its not an easy thing to do. Are we and the devs aware of this? Yup. Everything that goes on they know about, but to "fix" any issue takes time to implement and pre planning. As we go further through development you will see every aspect of the game tighten up. patience is key. Rgds LoK
