Hello there 2 things Firstly lets not confuse reality and a game. Shooting anything sentient IMHO is appalling (in reality). Shooting Zeds no matter their colour/creed/age etc hopefully shouldn't affect your real life morals, if so then one already needs help. Secondly, Priests are often confused as nuns due to their ceremonial dress. Let's keep OT rgds LoK

Hello there i think the becoming "zombiefied" is an interesting idea, BUT it would need decent mechanics included as part of it to stop it becoming a grief tool. For eg one , if infected could over a period of time loose physical control of the character to Zed AI making him a threat to players but at the same time less aggroesque to Zeds. That was a quick idea and probably full of holes. It's a fine idea in theory but needs alot of consideration. rgds LoK -
Hello there whilst this post is definitely not "stupid" there are some flaws to it IMHO. Grouping up already gives you "perks" as you have another set of eyes/weapons at your disposal. Bandits have the "disability" that they cannot really trust each other. (if they're truly bandits, if not then they're just another group of survivors no matter what they call themselves.) Also, there should be no negative aspect to soloing. Too many games pseudopunish for solo play already. rgds LoK

Should just military or all weapons become rare in SA?

Hello there Gotta agree with DG. I don't know what the laws are supposed to be like in the universe where DAYZ is based, but here in the UK firearms are generally rare/hard to "get at". For eg an old pal's dad is member of a shooting club, now I think the law's has changed, but it used to be that all his firearms were locked in a super secure safe in his house and without a key, it's highly unlikely one could get at them without major power tools. Even when I lived in S.A. all our weapons were kept in an external "cellar" which essentially was a safe built into the house as its own room. The point being that IMHO all firearms should be uncommon and ammo more so. Military weapons IMHO should be very very rare indeed. Shotguns/.22's IMHO should be more common, especially with all the farming community present in chenarus. rgds LoK -

Hello there Not read the script yet as its 5am, but will do. My tuppence is to avoid cliche's as Bongo pointed out. Cinematographic "tricks" like the Slo'mo shot are soooooooo over used it's painful. Whereas George Lucas ressurrected some old simple wipe techniques which hadn't been in vogue since the 20's and 30's. People pick up very quickly on stuff they've seen before and that can include plot/sound/gfx etc it's inbuilt in us to "see" patterns, so avoid em. Hello there Theoretically, it is *simple* to migrate a forum or transfer the domain to something new, but knowing sods law something usually goes wrong. I certainly wouldn't want to be in Matt's shoes. (for one thing he's got smelly feet) TBH, I've never noticed the actual forum URL. I'm sure the chaps have thought about their Google ranking and all other SEO type shennanigans, so I wouldn't worry too much. rgds LoK -
