There's 2 main reasons for a GB. 1. you or someone using your PC scripted 2. you or someone using your PC downloaded a key stealer disguised as another program (a DAYZ optimiser for example) If it's a non legit ban BE will overturn it. Hello there Again, these issues have been covered many times and there ARE ways of upping ones FPS. I cannot however go through every setting, cfg tweak with every user. Apart from your GFX card, my system is a little more powerful than yours and sometimes my fps dips alot. Don't expect to "max" out this sim, whilst you may be able to in many other games. Rgds LoK

Hello there *if* they manage to smooth out the avatar control, that would have a vast impact on the game IMHO. Many are/were put off Arma by it's "differentness". I too, hope for a pre chrimble release, but would rather have a solid later release than a sooner flawed one. Rgds LoK

Hello there To PVP or not to PVP, that is the question. I see many folk in threads such as this stating that if one doesn't PVP then "one is doing it wrong". I disagree. What floats someones boat may not float someone else's, it's fine to love PVP, but it's not for everyone, and those people still enjoy the game, even if people with opposing views see it as an experience with "no challenge". With PVP in or completely removed I still enjoy the game. Yes, it alters the experience but doesn't take away the fun, one just plays with a different mindset. I'm a big arma fan. I enjoy PVP and Co-op etc, I have also enjoyed just driving around Arma's maps in a car as it can be quite pretty. I think Arma and Dayz are what one makes of them. Rgds LoK

Hello there I cant wait until the "THE DEV'S LIED!!!!111?!1" and "CLASS ACTION" threads. My locking finger is poised. I've already started digging new holes in the Graveyard. I have a feeling that the SA may well surprise us, but some folk do tend to get their hopes uber high. Let's just wait and see. Hello there Some servers have a List of people they allow onto the server. That is a white list. You usually have to apply to be put on the list. A Blacklist is a list of naughty people barred from the server. You usually have to appeal to get off the Blacklist. Whitelist good Blacklist bad. Rgds LoK

Hello there Separate post for a reason. OP there is never ever "NO REASON" for BE to act. It may not be your fault, but there will be a reason. BE doesn't pick people to ban out of the blue because it's bored. There's always a reason, you just may not be fully aware of it. rgds LoK

Hello there BE isn't perfect but no system will ever be 100pc foolproof and still useable in the marketplace. I'm perfectly happy with BE. It seems to work and work well. As others have pointed out, most of the issues are down to Arma's built in scriptability which, when used properly, elevates the sim/game well above others in it's field. Hence it's longevity. Hence DAYZ itself. Scripting is an issue. It's been addressed. Will some pencil necked geek come up with an "UB0R HAXX" for the SA? Possibly, who knows? But if so I doubt the issue will be anywhere near as prevalent on the SA. PROPERLY moderating ones server really assists in combatting the P.N.G.'s of the world. Rgds LoK PS all My OWN opinions btw.
