    hold on, just moving and getting relevent info. Hello there Read all the appropriate stickies and check the info at the Battleye site. There's 2 main reasons for a GB. 1. you or someone using your PC scripted 2. you or someone using your PC downloaded a key stealer disguised as another program (a DAYZ optimiser for example) The ban is given by BATTLEYE which monitors Arma 2. We are just a mod. We have nothing to do with the ban. You are banned from Arma2 and any and all mods. If this does happen to be a non legit ban BE will overturn it. But those are rare indeed. rgds LoK

    Hello there My finger is hovering above the "lock" button as the thread has attracted some folk who are diametrically opposed and I doubt will ever be able to agree on a middle ground. I'm gonna give it a last chance for real debate to be had then if it doesn't work it goes. Rgds LoK

    Hello there One has to remember that with the upsurge of private hives, there are many varied versions of dayz, So on many steams/tubes folk will appear to have a lot of cool kit very quickly. Editing also may give this impression. I believe the SA will be a raw and pitiless experience I'd have fun with all the leet gear whilst you can. Rgds LoK

    Hello there You wont be Globally Banned by Battleye for using hacked in gear but you may get put on the dreaded community ban list by an admin if he spots you using it, which is a bugger to get off. I'd toss hacked gear. Rgds LoK

    Hello there It's always nice to hear folk getting rid of duped equip. BE won't ban you for it, but if you do use duped/spawned equip you will start to smell. No one likes an exploiter. Rgds LoK

    Hello there Their marketing depts are probably just not aware of the interest DAYZ is generating in the industry. If they have been advised then their Head of Marketing should have a kick up the backside, especially not bothering to reply. I do hope (and am sure) that they targeted the heads/associates of the departments, not just the grunts. L
