"ban for no reason" This does not exist You are only banned if you cheat or if you allow your key to be stolen and then it is used to cheat by someone else. The majority of us have never been banned. If you are the type to cheat then don't risk it. Rgds LoK

Hello there Vanilla Arma comes with different chat channels. I use , and . to change them your config may differ. If you are chatting in yellow then that is usually the Vehicle Chat. Blue is the Side Chat And white is either the Direct Chat or Global Chat. To hear you in the vehicle chat you need to be in the same vehicle as others. Side chat will talk to all on your faction and Global talks to everyone no matter the faction. Direct chat is distance based and only those near you will be able to hear you. But any faction can hear. Rgds LoK

Hello there Look, BE just does not "ban for no reason" it just doesn't work that way. Now, false positives can happen, but they are rare indeed. There was a recent glitch with BE where there was a batch ban due to an error but that was quickly tracked down and all bans over turned. This is highly uncommon and highlighting this as a common example is inaccurate. Almost all the people we get posting here on these subjects are either scripters or have downloaded a map/mod/optimiser with an embedded key stealer (which wont *apparently* usually be detected by usual anti virus/malware). Check for yourself. They rant and rail how they hate hackers or don't have the knowledge but once we trace their ID's we find them posting on hack sites etc. On the other hand when it comes to key stealers I understand this can be frustrating for the innocent, but still careless individuals who has had their key stolen. The "rules" are harsh. But those are the rules. Simply coming on to the board and saying "BE is Poo" or "a friend was banned and he says he doesn't cheat" just does not wash. Lastly, there is no conspiracy to make folk re buy the game. In an infinite universe there are an infinite amount of possibilities, so I'm not going to say BE is 100pc infallible but the chances are that it is handing out a ban for no reason is almost nil. Oh yes, Steam sometimes allows *one* refund per account (which is a credit rather than a full refund) so IMHO dont waste it on Arma, keep it for a full price game. Although it may be a bit late now. L

Hello there I'm 100pc against any 'tuber regularly participating/handling media output from the devs. I'm surprised folk are so focusing on a rough and ready video that's obviously for folk interested on the build progress, rather than looking for a multi million dollar trailer. In fact I can't believe I've now wasted a minute or so of my time on the subject. I just advise those who didn't like the video never to walk into a restaurant's kitchen, a car repair shop, factory floor or anything similar, it will shatter your world view. Rgds LoK

Hello there As false positives are overturned by BE and so far this has not happened, you may want to think about the fact you may have malware on your machine. If a key stealer is there, hopefully the only thing it will affect is future attempts at installing Arma, but do the usual checks etc just to be sure. Rgds LoK

Hello there As has been pointed out, I can see the enfield being replaced by a mosin etc as Enfields are not exactly super common in the Easter Block. Also, modern battle rifles have special "universal" rail mounts built specifically for different systems, The Enfield/Mosin etc did not have these so mounting many types of "common" sights etc simply could not be achieved without the help of a skilled gunsmith. OK, Dayz isnt Uber realistic as we know, so as has been pointed out telescopic versions of the Mosin could appear, but most likely a more moden rifle with a soviet mounting system will find its way in game. Hello there The time it takes to get whitelisted (on almost any server that uses the system) is vastly outweighed by the benefits it brings. One doesn't have to abandon open servers all together but the difference in general is astounding. I still like to go native and use pub servers now and again as they have a markedly different feel, but for me I like the security and camaraderie that a well run whitelisted server provides. ooo not TV, following TV advice will get you killed. I would like vehicles etc to have different penetration values depending on location though and remaining mostly intact rather than them just brewing up after a few hits. I also dislike "map only" artifacts like burned out cars which are immovable and static. But I'm sure there's a good technical reason behind them. Rgds L
