Friendly/Surrender signal, alternative to Q/E and lowering your weapon.
OrLoK replied to Dancing.Russian.Man's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
Hello there The salute or wave, is a possible alternative but I would like to see a full blown weapons away/palms up and open stance. Actually, just make it simple and make a stance where one can holster ones weapon but not be limited in movement. Rgds LoK -
Something similar to the laser marker put in dayz?
OrLoK replied to alexfdr's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
Hello there I'd like to see kit such as this but make it uber uber rare. It then becomes like "The One Ring" a thing of power but one almost everyone will want to kill you for. Ying an yang. Duping would/might be an issue though. L -
Hello there I dont truly know but I suspect not as it would be of limited value to the game. I could be wrong though. Rgds LoK

hello there No matter what is delivered, the amount of gnashing of teeth and anger due to the fact that the game isnt exactly what some folk "imagined" will keep us busy long after release. I Lokstradamus have predicted this. Rgds L

Hello there It's also quite understandable that any groovy ideas/tech might migrate from one game to the other, I think there will be similarities but the difference between A3 and the SA will be far greater than A2 and the mod. Rgds LoK

I may have a arma 2 key stealer on my pc HELP
OrLoK replied to exomonkeyman's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Hello there TBH I don't know if a sys restore will do the job. But at the end of the day it's up to you. Just be sure you are comfortable with any possible consequences if you go the "easy" route. Good luck! L -

known data. As in anything you want to keep that you know is legit, like documents, images etc. -
I may have a arma 2 key stealer on my pc HELP
OrLoK replied to exomonkeyman's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
php's can run. just not in the way you may be used to. If you are accepting unknown unverified files from untrustworthy sources I would look at doing an OS reinstall. (after backing up and checking known data) L -
hello there for a tenth of that I'll be your personal Ragdoll. The cost does look quite prohibitive as well as the difficulties of merging it to the current game. If it were tweaked away from GTA IV, yes it would be nice, but that cost is rather high. I don't see it happening, but then again I thought Dub Step was dreadful and would never catch on... look how that turned out? Rgds LoK

Hello there I would also buy the full A2 rather than the free version. So much is missing from it. So go for Combined Ops and up. Rdgs LoK

Check the arma 3 videos, that's probably as "physicy" as you are going to get. If we are lucky. I wouldn't worry to much though.

Hmmm you need to explain this a bit more. You installed a free copy off steam but it downloaded a zip? Link me to this please. ignore. my mistake.

Best idea ever. Implement this in standalone, please.
OrLoK replied to [email protected]'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I am known for my constant lies as well. -
Hello there There are Arma mods that make the zone to enter vehicles/open doors etc far wider, so at the very least something like that could be implemented. I'm sure it's on their todo list :) Rgds LoK

if your copy is not legit and you have used a "crack", then the keylogger may already well be installed...

OrLoK replied to richjones19772000's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Hello there If you use DAYZ commander you can see what version they are running and you can get the jist of what will be included in that particular build. Rgds LoK -
Hello there 30 frames is fine for me, but YMMV. Rgds LoK

Perhaps text is a placeholder for now?

Hello there Not 'yard but a lock. See all the stickies in the ban section and then if you feel your ban is not legit please contact Battleye.com. We have nowt to do with the bans I'm afraid. Rgds LoK
-
Potatoes? Luxury!
-
Ok so ive been banned, what are my rights?....
OrLoK replied to Molochius's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I think you'll find that mod was referring to a refund not a ban. oh and if this continues down the conspiracy bans=cash then I'll just lock the thread. We've heard it all before there are other games that are cash grabs, if BE were doing that then they're not doing it right. L -
Communication A multiplayer game can get a lot more fun and tactical when you can communicate with the other players. ArmA offers players several tools to do this without needing to use external applications. Channels The game uses several different communication channels to make sure you don't get overwhelmed. 'Global channel' - every single player in a session can hear each other using the global channel. 'Side channel' - only players on the same side can hear you in this channel. 'Group channel' - all members of your squad are on this channel. 'Vehicle channel' - everyone on your vehicle's intercom can use this channel. 'Direct communication' - no radio is used here, so only players within voice range will receive these messages. To switch to another channel press either '.' (colon) or ',' (comma). Text chat One method of communicating is sending and receiving text messages. To start typing a message, press '/' (forward slash). Now you will see the message box in which you can type you message and send it by hitting 'Enter'. While typing a message you need to use 'Up' and 'Down' to change channels, instead of the normal ',' (comma) and '.' (full stop). copypasta from the arma wiki http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/ArmA:_Manual#Communication
