Hello there Hmmm, i might move the thread... i'll have a think about it. Triffid's causing temporary blindness/affecting vision from its attack would be groovy and horridly scary. I dont know how the blind masses could be emulated within the engine, but one could assume it's a while after the "event" and most blind folk have died off. But if one thinks of it, triffids are really the equivalent of the traditional "slow" zombie except with a blinding attack. Rgds LoK

Hello there I'm seeing the same old same old after any *presumed* release date is passed. What does it have to do with any of us when it's released? Either you buy it or not. The only folk it affects is the devs. My mind boggles at those who think they seem to have a share in the company. Just be patient. You don't want to wait? Move on. I don't care about his level of professionalism (as long as he's polite), like we all do I just want a great game at the end of the day, and if there's a company to do it, then it's this one. Comms is an issue with many companies/devs/partners etc. i dont expect any sweeping changes, but they would be nice. Rgds LoK

As to those grizzling about the release date and it's supposed delay, you have the mod, Arma3 alpha and it's inevitable "dayzalikes". Folk who wish to bail may do so, the game isnt aimed at you I am afraid. I would like to see at least another 6 months/year development before a public release so as to be able to implement mind blowing stuff, rather than a tidied up mod. But that's just me and I dont know a lot. What we need to do is wait and be patient. Want to move on to a different game? Fine. You'll still be welcome at launch. Regardless even if the game never came out or indeed did turn into another Duke Nukem, it doesnt affect anyone except the devs. Lets wait and see. Rgds LoK

Hello there I dont find it offensive personally, but rather a lazy and ignorant way to present things. I do almost (but not quite) put it on the level of retard/gay/joey/spaz/etc etc. When most people use those terms they dont actually mean them as an insult referring to being homosexual, mentally/physically less capable rather as a catch all term. I think Bambi may go that way. When I see it used, i sigh a little. I don't become offended. but I see it becoming more of an insult rather than a descriptor. Hello there I understand OP's point and I too long for the days where coop play was the norm, with small enclaves of bandits to spice things up. Many people follow the bandit route as it's the simplest and safest way to play and yields great reward in a short timescale. One cannot say "PvP is how it would be in reality" so that's why it is the norm in game", the amount of PvP is purely down to the games mechanics. Without a fundamental shift, PvP being the main crux of the game, is here to stay. Rgds LoK
