    Hello there I think we all ought to be a little less spikey and grumpy towards OP (and others) , but yes, OP please use the search tool. I *like* the idea of remote cameras, especially with the new "picture in picture" feature available in A3. But, although available the equipment does feel a little out of place for dayz. Perhaps one could scavange parts from shop CCTV etc. (not a perfect example). A nice idea, needs a little more thought. Rgds LoK

    Optics mode disabled?

    Hello there One needs a mod like @ANZINS to make many Vanilla A2 weapons use both the CQB sights as well as optics. OA weapons have this but many of the originals do not. Many acogs etc. Rgds LoK

  8. Hello there I think anyone who sees BI as money grabbers has a slightly skewed world view IMHO. Obviously money *is* a factor, how could it not be? But if you look at BI and their history with regard to the RV engine they've been sterling developers. Perhaps not perfect but far better than much larger organisations. I wasnt overly impressed with their last Arma DLC for example, so I simply didnt invest in it. I dont think it shows them to be a greedy corporate ummm.......corporation. As to the A3 community alpha, I think its a great way to get the community involved and excited, make a few bucks with the early orders (remember you dont have to buy it if you want a finalised experience) and have a large core of willing testers. I dont see an issue here. If they charged full price for the alpha or made us purchase the full game at a later date (like other companies I could mention) after buying into the alpha I would be furious. I agree that the A2 campaign was and is buggy, but its hard to iron out every single issue when one uses such a dynamic simulation. There are just far too many variables. I have hardly touched the campaigns since the epic OFP Resistance. If we were stuck with the campaign I too would have left Arma long ago, but its the wealth of missions that keeps me going. Once .kju has the AIA mod finalised you'll have to tear me away fom A3alpha. Anyhoo, I digress. Gummy, whilst (believe it or not) I'm not a rabid Rocket Fanboi or a BI employee just an ordinary player, I just cannot understand your suspicions, your'e entitled to them but I just dont share them. I feel there's something you are not sharing or something we collectively are missing when it comes to your posts. There are issues with the game/SA I personally dislike but I let those go as I like the other 90pc, I suppose it's the same with BI. But again, I don't see your angle. Rgds LoK
  9. I have to say if they used just the A3 movement, I for one would be a happy man. The A2 anims are/were a major turn off to many players. At the launch of alpha I don't believe vehicles will be in, much like fixed wing aircraft are not in A3. I have no doubt they will be and it will be an improvement on a2. Will it be a massive shift/improvement? I think probably not, but I'm still glad I have the full alpha at this price, I think the SA will be the same. L

  11. @gummy Why not PM a dev? They may not reply, but if they do then you'll have your answers. I fail to understand what you want from us. We can only go on the info we are given and trust the devs to be honest with us. They've been honest so far why would they change? Something seems to have irritated you, I just cannot see what it is. Try letting us know your issue in plain "salt of the earth" non programmy terms, use analogies and then perhaps we as a whole will understand the point you are trying to get across. Rgds LoK

    You should be able to click and launch right in DC. Try youtube for guides to DAYZ Commander.. BUT REMEMBER! only download software for dayz etc from reputable sources dont be tempted to use a youtube link without doing your research. L

    Hello there Don't hold your breath for the SA. It'll be great but wont be out in a few weeks/months IMHO. Plus with the Arma 3 forwardporting of A2/OA assets I think there's interesting things afoot. Regardless A22/OA are spiffing games. Rgds LoK

    Hello there I use steam and commander with no issues. @OP have you run the games by themselves yet? you need to run both Arma2 and Arma OA at least once to finalise their setup. Rgds LoK

    Hello there There are only two reasons for this. The first is that you have had your CD key compromised through downloading a trojan which has stolen your cd key and the second because you have cheated.   17. Where's the next dev blog? It's been minutes since the last one? Surely Rocket's finished his climb by now, it's almost tea time. A nice long hard blog. Good stuff. I'll be interested to see the external art cell's work *jealous* I think it would have been very very easy for R not to have bothered with a blog from close to base camp as even simple things are tough to do at that altitude (albeit good press), so I hope some of the naysayers are hushed for a little time. Наши программисты все еще работают над клиент\серверной архитектурой, радиосвязью и VOIP и фиксят некоторые баги. Ведется разработка лодов путей в зданиях для улучшения перемещений зомби в интерьерах и текстур интерьеров. Идет работа над несколькими видами оружия, парочкой предметов одежды и других предметов. Работа над анимацией идет по плану. SenCHi и Иван шерстят все населенные пункты и улучшают их, оптимизируют расстановку зданий и т.п.   23. Hello there You can re-install battleye through steam, this often helps. I'm away from my pc, but I'll post on it later if you don't manage it yourself through right clicking on a2 etc etc in steam. I would install and play the mod through Dayz commander, just ensure you're on the same version as the server, which is NOT necessarily the newest version. It's dependent on the server in question.
