Hello there, Dont forget BI are using a lot of investment to make this game, theyre not gonna throw a couple of devs into a room and say "just do what you like". Theyll have a very firm idea of what is to come. Yes, there will be some fluidity and some changes made along the way but one can guarantee that 99pc is already storyboarded out and discussed in depth. Rdgs LoK

Hello there Dean does take an interest but has moved on. Ive done this myself in my career. You start a project and then hand it over to a new team that runs with it but makes their own changes. One keeps an eye on things but its like an ex girlfriend you think of fondly You like to keep in touch but you dont want too many details. Dean didnt disappear and is still in touch with many of us. Does he post here often? No. Should he? well thats up to him but he has direct links to the devs so doesnt really need to. But just because we dont see the contact doent mean it isnt happening. I do see your point and how it could appear to those not in the "know" though. Rdgs LoK PS also if one is working with a company its also common if someone has left to remove all access and rights one had from the ex employee as essentially Dean could set himself up as a direct competitor. (not a great example in this case but a common buisiness thing.) IE *I* have access to areas Dean and Matt do not as they are no longer directly involved with the project. (unimportant areas btw)

Hello there Id like to see vehicles in all sorts of repair and in all kinds of condition so one never really knows what one will need to do to get a vehicle on the road (if indeed anything needs doing!) But I can see why the devs are doing it this way for the moment. Id expect to see some more subtitles to vehicle repair in future. Rgds LoK

Hello there The meshes are fairly low already, and the devs have used lots of "tricks" to make a low poly object appear high poly in game. Expect more tweaking as we go along though. Its a nice idea though and I like the post. Constructive! Rdgs LoK

Hello there Dont forget Dean never expected DAYZ to get as huge as it did and he had other things he wanted to do. (Climbing Everest, having a life outside of BI, visiting hobbits in NZ etc.) Plus, he made a little cash and pursued his dreams. Its much better to run one's own project than be beholdent to other senior figures. I'd tell you more about his project but im under evil NDA's and he would send his flying monkeys to devour me in the small hours. Remember Dean is a "grenade" personality and needs his own room in which to "explode". Dean was a driving force but he's set the course and I doubt the game will differ vastly from his own ideal. TBH I probably would have buggered off as well, The C.R. might be nice but Blighty is where Im comfy at. Rdgs LoK

Im also a chome user on a new clean win10 pro and have had no issues with the browser remembering my pass/user. Hello there Damn, someone beat me to the Sinister thing. *shakes fist at sky* But, Im a difficult chap and do find it difficult playing a gender/race/handedness that doesnt represent me. Wait! Hold on! Im not saying what you think I'm saying! I dont mind playing as a different gender/race/height/angle/species etc, it's just that I cannot sympathyse as much with the character as Id like. In all games I play "me" rather than an alter Ego so I like my avatar to be a "me-like" as possible. Gordon Freeman was great as he was fairly silent (didnt ike the goatee or specs though and as for that haircut...yuk!) My point being, if the handedness of the DAYZ avatars were changed to the left, I wouldnt rant about it but Id not be a huge fan. I think player customisation is everso important and like for us all to be able to chose handedness. Is it a vital thing? Nah. would it be nice to have? Yeah. But I can think of far more important stuff to implement. Im still waiting for my Horse Head mask. Rgds LoK

Hello there I still have some chipped bones in some knuckles from where I got in to a scrap in my younger days. Still hurts occasionally. Fist combat should be painful,gloves should assist with that. When you hit someone, if you make contact with bone, it blimmin hurts although adrenaline usually stops the instant pain and lets it hammer you later on. I like the thought of damaging hands Rdgs Lok
