Why not a few different flavors of SKS, instead of only the 59/66? I want to see "standard" ones. Also, midwest ordinance perfected converting the SKS to take standard AK mags. Old Willy Clinton then forced them to show the chinese who pumped them out ad nauseum.

The 7.62 rimmed round is flatter shooting than the m43 and penetrates cover better than the 5.45x39. Small fast rounds cause superior wounding because they have a tendency to fragment within 150 yards. Large heavy rounds also do this if sufficiently fast. The m43 is not. Personally, I'd like to see two variants on the mosin. One with a straight bolt that shoots 2-4 moa and one with a bent bolt that shoots much less, and would be an appropriate long range rifle. That'd be a reason to choose the mosin. It'd be a long range rifle that uses common ammo. Also, different ammo types, standard and "match".

They already have passive skill increase. Start opening up cans with screwdrivers and fireaxes. Notice you'll drop just a tad less each time.

There already is a skill system. Ever notice how when you open up a can with something other than a can opener, you drop less and less and less of it? Like you're slowly getting better at it? One time I could open it nearly perfectly with a screwdriver.

I've seen world war Z, and read the book. And the zombie survival handbook, or whatever it was called. It doesn't make any sense. Neither does 28 days later. Nor 28 weeks later. I once made it a point to watch every zombie movie on wikipedia that was actually somewhat findable. Right down the row in alphabetical order. Zombies don't make sense, period. Let's focus on the living variety, not the dead ones for this. Sick people are not stronger, or fast. I don't know what infections you've dealt with, but sick people are slower, weaker, and generally don't think as clearly. Remember, things like walking, and swinging limbs to attack people all require coordination, which are processes of the brain. Infections of the brain tend to hamper these abilities, drastically. Here is rabies for instance: These people often lack the capacity to walk, much less aggressively attack me, much less become super human killing machines. This is all fantasy. Yet after 3 days time, not 24, as we do all need to drink, they (the zombies in the world. not rabies' victims) would be dead. All of them. Blood is too salty to sustain yourself on, and you'll vomit after ingestion of more than one cup, roughly. Resulting even even less than 3 days. Do you see where I'm going with this? All of this being said, I think zombies are fine as they are now in the stable branch, I'd just like to see more of them. (Note, the crazies had an interesting spin, but these zombies burned out fast. On that note, don't use the adrenaline argument, sustained adrenaline will destroy you. There's a reason why it's only available for short bursts.)

If I'm sick with the flu, or rabies, or some other terrible disease, I'm not going to be able to run very fast, or probably even stand up straight. Do you expect them to be in some kind of constant adrenaline rush? This would quickly kill them. Seriously, it's like killing patients in the hospital. I think the key is numbers, not making individual zombies stronger.

When the police in the US switched over to .40 cal handguns, a whole bunch of these things flooded the market a few years ago. They could be had readily for under $300, even beating the CZ-75 in price. Of course, those days are over. Betcha you wish you snagged a whole bunch up, eh?

I like the idea of having a holster which allows for faster draw of a handgun coupled with inventory slots. Balanced? BALANCED? That word makes me rabid. Molle vests exist. Get over it. I'd like to see a 9 mm luger p08 and an ortgie's .380 or .32 depending on which ammo is more common in the game. An SKS that isn't ugly as sin, and a saiga 12. Man check out the stock on that SKS, it's a beauty, the russian type, not the weird yugo type. Personally, I use my Yugo for bizarre experiments not fitting for a piece of history. It's already entering the realm of unholy.

In there mod, I would go to this clan's base and run over all their tents full of stuff. It was war. Things always escalated from mere survival to base building to war. We'd loot all we could and simply destroy the rest.

Here are 3 known examples of drugs which allow you to be less shaky and thus shoot more accurately. Because of this, these 3 particular drugs are banned by the Olympics, which used to have events that included target shooting. As a side note, I mentioned how some drugs can produce something like a mild audio hallucination. Trying to locate source of said audio hallucination can easily get you killed if you're in a hostile environment.

I did. :P Also, it's the 7.63 mauser, not the 7.62 tokarev. It has been said on here that it can fire the 7.62 tokarev with a very very minor decrease in accuracy. I can't confirm or deny this, but there are other firearms chambered in the 7.63 mauser which CANNOT take the 7.62 tokarev. If the c96 can take either round... that's be pretty cool actually. However, I think c96s in 9mm and .45 would be pretty cool as well. The c96 in .45 was used in china during the warlord period. Crazy stuff.

That would be called a receiver. This concept would be neat if you were making tube guns. but there aren't even any machine pistols in game yet. However, it all needs to be headspaced. It's really not doable without a machine shop. There do appear to be several factories. Idk.

Marijuana, alcohol, and beta blockers are all banned by the Olympics because they steady your nerves and give you an unfair advantage in shooting, no joke. All 3 of these drugs will improve your steadiness and make you a better shot.I don't foresee beta blockers being in the game; anyone with heart troubles is in a world of shit. I read this long article by a man in the civil war (he didn't participate in it, just tried to survive) in what was once Yugoslavia. Many of the hard drug users died when SHTF, but marijuana and alcohol flourished. However, he noted, sometimes you could almost sort of hear a far away song play with marijuana, that you just can't quite hear. Don't go outside looking for it when there are mortars and machine guns going off outside.

I've never tried cracking a skull with a machete. Is it doable in one swing or two? Maybe the game accurately captures this. Honestly, I think it depends on the swinger. I should at least be able to decapitate with a neck blow.

I'd like to see one in 9mm or .45. The 7.63 mauser round is just too rare to be useful. Why add a caliber for just one gun? It'd be a fun feature though if they did include this, that if you tried to to load 7.62 tokarev ammo into it, it would burst, with the possibility of killing the user. How do you feel about detachable magazines, especially machine pistol variants? I'd love to see a 9mm or .45 version with a big old box mag and full auto. I'd be like DOCTOR ROCKZO. KA KA KAYEAH.

I'm trying to make several points here: there seem to be two factors at play here, #1 There is a strong anti-military gun sentiment going on now, for reasons I can't explain. #2 You posted what is a clearly a tacticool version of a firearm, and that people here, from the post I've just made, including a response you yourself posted, are simply unable to use the search feature on this website, even one which automatically searches the website in an attempt to dissuade one from creating a new thread, let alone a search on google. So to spell this out for you, as clearly you're not following me, if you post a picture of a tacticooled up shotgun, people will accept it as the norm. Hell, I saw a reddit dayz post the other day of people wondering what a cz-75 was for 4 pages. It wasn't even nonsensical joking answers either. The overwhelming consensus was that it was some kind of rifle. You need to be very careful here, because unlike the arma crowd, I fear, this isn't a firearm knowledgable user base. So tread lightly.

Click on my signature and you'll find it. Why is it that people feel the need to consistently beat a subject like combat logging/KoS'ing into the ground, these two things are the MOST discussed things on this forum, yet people still feel the need to post yet another thread about the same thing, over and over and over. We get it already, some people hate/like kosing, some people hate it when people combat log, and some people believe it should be changed, there is no need to create more junk threads to bog down the forum and push more important threads to different pages, ect. Also SEARCH FUNCTION.... And to bring this right around to you: I believe my point is made.
