I'm only friendly towards my squad. When I first joined this game, I always planned on being friendly towards everyone but I just kept getting shot. I now have a new motto.. "Kill or be killed." Only trust your friends man, simple as.

I'm having the same problem, mine is hosted in the UK. It's crashed/restarted itself all day yesterday.

Might sound like a silly question, but my server is hosted by vilayer.com, am I right in thinking I can just ignore this thread due to them sorting it all out for me, or do I need to register too?

They changed the name name to "DayZ - UK | Vilayer.com", removing all the tags I added to it, yeah. And yeah, it is set to 3rd on and ch off.

When I change the name of my server, I get like two server names in one and I can't seem to work it out :/. I search my name and it comes up with an official DayZ hosted one with mine attached to it, check it out and let me know if you have any ideas please. Search "DayZ - UK78".

I haven't had chance to check if the name tags are visible/not visible yet, I just can't see a setting to toggle them on/off. So Veteran will make the tags not visible, yeah?

Yeah, I see what you mean actually. Any idea how to get name tags off since that setting has been removed too?

I'm with Vilayer.com and mine hasn't changed, no. Send them a help ticket/email, I'm sure they'll sort it right out for you.

Ok, I was playing DayZ fine yesterday, until I managed to find some new clothing. After logging back in from finding new clothing, I was bugged in the middle of the ocean, so I got a friend to help out and he downloaded the new patch. Now when I try to go into the game, I get the following error below: "Arma 2 OA Error creating Direct3D 9 Graphical engine" Any ideas? Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me!
