I've been one shot by Zeds on multiple occasions. Every time it happens, I like this game less because that isn't supposed to happen. There, does that balance it out?

So how do you know you were shot in the spine?

It depends on how you view your priority I guess. Is it maximizing what you are putting in you, or maximizing your inventory space. I tend to agree with you about inventory space.

I am getting more confused every time you post. Is it just me?

Actually, we had a thread a few days ago about a guy who got butthurt when someone shared teamspeak connection info, and he still shot him at the end of the session. This guy was so upset, he got the guys email and phone and started spamming stuff on craigslist with this dudes personal information. That is harassment. Not in-game, but as a result of the game. If you are trying to prove harassment like you see in WOW and other games, you probably can't do it. The state of this game almost encourages KOS and ganking. I was upstairs in military jail building and guy runs in with M4 in his hands. I can shoot him dead, or communicate and see him shoot me dead. Sorry about that, random guy running into jail building 2 days ago. It was me or you, and frankly, it was me.

Yes, but the splints/morphine are dependent on the RNG. The thing about RNG's are they are....RANDOM!!! Sometimes you find 20 of what you need, sometimes you go days without a stick or morphine injection gracing your screen. I look at the med buildings, and the 2nd floor of the office/school type buildings all the time. Seldom do I find the morphine. I need me some more morphine.

what is the rope for? i use rags and sticks for splints. can you actually use rope?

Fresh fruit not rare, and not worth clogging inventory. get cans of beans, peaches, and bags of rice and powdered milk. Throw in 2 canteens and you are set.

That used to mean a lot more. Now the value of those is solely dependent on the desire to run west to one of the tent cities. I have about the same gear, though I have the CR75. I had a run on the magazines so I got it instead of the FNX this time. I also have 2 ACOGs in pristine, one for me and one for trading.

just FYI, if this is the game you play each night, you will likely NEVER get a winner. you will only get 10 or so responses and the odds of hitting a winner with 10 guess is slim. If you made it 1-50, you should hit a winner in a week or less.

I've had a few anti-stab vests. I find them around police stations, two being on top of police cars. I had the UK assault vest yesterday and came across the antistab. I said to myself, "self, keep this anti-stab in your backpack and give it to a bambi". The damn thing takes 6 slots in my backpack. Holy cow! I still have it there, but I will probably drop it. No bambi is worth 6 slots of my inventory, especially if I come across an LRS or two later.

problem found. you used a gun on a zed. axe, and axe only.

went to NWAF tents the other day, had 4 rags for bandages. After the 6th zed attack, i had to abandon the place and run for it. Got to the entrance of the firestation before falling over unconscious. Next time, two stacks of bandages. Too many stealth zombies to carry just a few. Of course, if I could rip up my better shirts I would have used that for bandages, but no, we aren't there yet.

I just tested your theory. Nope, the speed is absolutely the same with fists up or down. I did tests running 45 sec each way, multiple times on railroad tracks from designated points. I saw that other posts say the fist-sprint was fixed back in Feb, and I agree it was. Running with an axe seemed to slow me by about 20%, and with a pistol, about 25%. Those numbers aren't as exact though. The biggest thing that affects your speed is LAG. When i ran west, it was the fastest, even though it had a very slight uphill section. When I ran east, at certain points I could see lag/rendering issues, and it was definitely slower, even with the slight downhill. My guess is that when facing east, I am facing the direction with cities and such. Facing west was just the end of the map, with no significant settlements in my long LOS. TLDR: running speeds are equal no matter fist positions.

Exactly what makes 28.37 ° funny? I happen to be good friends with that angle, and he is anything but funny. He is very serious, and well edumacated.

In a Zed world, we won't have 'google' to look up this cool and wonderful stuff. Only 1 in a 1000 knows this cool stuff, and that 1 guy didn't survive the infection. Basically the only ones left behind are people that don't know the really cool stuff, such as cutting firewood into sticks, which could be used for splints.

Are you talking 'in-game', or real life? Because I don't think much realism has been put into ballistics yet.

I do wish they would tweak the zed's right now. The chances are low, but they CAN and DO 1-shot people. I had one rush through a wall yesterday, and while I was crouched looking for lootz, he reached back and smacked my head. I had on a pristine ballistics helmet. YOU ARE DEAD!!! I am not attached to my gear, but I ran all the way back to that no-name military base from freaking Svelto spawn. (They should disable that freaking spawn area until they fix the lag. I can run through any city in the game, but put me in Svelto, and I'm only taking one step every 10 secs due to the lag.) I found my corpse, still laying untouched, the doors in the place still hadn't been opened. I could not inspect or interact with my corpse. I was really hoping to see the state of my gear, to try and figure out was it a head-shot, or body, or back. I just hate being 1-shot by a Zed when I'm protected with good gear.

I disagree with you here, but it will take someone doing a test between two points to verify. I'm parked up north so if I remember tonight, I will hit the railroad tracks and test it a few ways.

I really question the running faster with fists up. I've run for about 300 hours, and I don't see a difference. Zeds can keep up with me with my fists up, or fists down. They don't really gain on me in either situation. I don't see a difference. Throw an axe in my hand and I slow down.

I saw a backpack at the KFC in Berezino. Did your backpack have straps to hold it on the shoulders? And some side pockets to put extra stuff? If so, it was there just 30 min ago. I also saw Slimey Mick drinking some Jamesons, but I don't know if it is related or not.

Give a man some food, you fill his belly for a day. Teach him to kill snipers, you fill him for a lifetime. Food is so easy, even easier if you move away from the coast. It's a weird game right now. We are sandboxing, but we try to make little games to keep the fun alive. The problem here is the servers reset every few hours. Even if people are reading your posts here, the chances of them getting to your parcels are slim. I applaud the effort in keeping yourself busy.
