Cheers. Dying did the trick.

I'm new to the game and lost my last character after logging out unconscious. Didn't know all would be lost, was pretty pissed off but ok. Then I log in again and find my character has changed. Logged out and tried to create a new one, but every time i change ANYTHING in the character creation screen, the moment I leave that dialogue it flips back to the standard female model. wth?
