Share the tip about the Var/config file. please?

Dear Diary, I have been busy surviving these last 2 weeks and made off well with some good equipment. I also met some friendly survivors they said they was headed North to pick up a friend but they never returned. I left the make shift camp early right after rainfall. I was following the tracks when I noticed 2 dead bodies laying over on the paved road. I went to investigate and to my horror my new friends were shot in the head and stripped of their dignity and clothing. The blood was still pouring from the holes in their skulls. I quickly ran for the woods and kept running as fast as I could then I noticed another survivor wearing the blue backpack of my friend. I don't know why or how nor can I believe I did but out of anger and shear horror I pulled out the Mosin my dead friend gave me the night before I aimed at the head and pulled the trigger without thinking. I just killed another survivor! What have I done? Have I become just another killer like one of the zombies? at this point I don't care anymore diary. I want to kill every survivor I see now. At least I won't have to worry about losing another friend.

Im having problems with the pistol red dot site. I put a good battery in and the site itself is in pristine condition. I can turn the site on and off when it is detached from the pistol and resting in my backpack but once I drag it onto my pistol it auto shuts itself off and trying to turn it on while its on the pistol fails to work as well. I will follow the above suggestions and hope for a fix and report back.

Dear Diary, Another day of hell. I hooked up up with a few trusting survivors we found a house with a piano in it and decided to set up camp for the night. After a few RasputinKvass beers I could here Billy Joel's "Piano Man" being played by one of the team. I went upstairs and sat at the desk reading a copy of Moby Dick. Then it happened! The noise of the music must have alerted them of our position. The zombie hoard was relentless they busted thru the floors and tore thru the walls causing a massive panic. I could hear the others screaming for their lives. I ran downstairs to help defend our new found home. When I reached the bottom of the staircase I witnessed in horror as I watched one of the survivors swing his axe at a zombie only to miss and hit his partner killing him instantly. I only had one choice and that was to make my way to the front door and run. I ducked and dodged the axes of the others as they swung wildly at anything moving. When I reached the door I kicked it open and ran as fast as I could hearing the screams of the others in the distance as I ran off into the woods. Now I am lost and I don't know how much longer this can of tactical bacon will last me. PRAY FOR ME DIARY!

Ok here is my version it's not nearly as good as yours but I wanted to give it a try. "Dear Diary, It's been months since the Zombie holocaust and things are only getting worse, I was running out of food and had to leave camp in search of more. After running what seemed like eternity I was lost and used the road to navigate my way to the city. Along the way I witnessed off in a safe distance a wounded female crawling along side of the road her yells for help and groans of pain could even be heard and was heard by evil ears as the other survivor came into view. Then the horror began as she was forced her to drink something from a bottle witch looked alot like the disinfectanct I used at the pesticide plant I worked at. A burlap sack was then placed over her head and a ball bat was used to flatten the round sack into a flat lump of pulp. What have we become now? How much more horror must I witness? I'm trying to find a church and grap a copy of the new testament. It's my only hope to deal with this mess."

BRAVO! I love this! Was one of the funniest post I ever read on these forums I will continue to follow this and hope to see more!

I used the search/forums and came up with nothing. I'm looking for a guide explaining the useage of the map concerning the Player/Channel. When loading icons on the map there is a option for other players to see the icons you marked on the map. I only have 2 pieces of the map collected and can't find a guide explaining any of this or if it's even "activated" any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have to say so far I am impressed with what I see so far. I just came from a game created by the most horrid company EVER. EA that company can take their games and go shove it where the sun don't shine. I'll NEVER EVER buy another game from EA again. I played the "Pay-to-win" game of theirs for 4 yrs "Battlefield Heroes" and they are the most laziest,rude,greedy,incompetent company EVER! I don't know why I stayed with them for so long. I guess I had hopes they would change. Silly me even after they got new management witch was worse than the old I got sick and tired of them. They crap on their own community and when you go on their forums to discuss a flaw in the game your attacked by all the brown nosing child like punks. Ugh! it was aweful and I'm glad I was introduced to this game. I played other games as well were content and updates were few and far between. This game here though seems to be on top of things as far as a Alpha goes. My only complaint would be the template of the website/forums. It's a little non-user friendly and I don't like getting my news from Twitter feeds either. The black background makes it hard to read font's in some cases this is why I did mine in red. I've been reading posts all about the forums and the community really seems friendly for the most part. As far as the game goes I love this game and think it's great. Can't wait to see what new content will be implemented in the future but hopefully not to far in the future. The running around on foot all the time kinda sux. a bicycle would be nice all though I hear of vehicles and other rumors as well.
