I haven't played in over a month, I know Emu can confirm that. Looking forward to exp again. I use the new UI for the most part because of the fps gain, but I'm one of the lucky few that gets decent frames in cities. Just hoping the lag spikes are gone (like when another players bubble crosses yours, and also vehicle lag) for some semblance of realism. My toon is parked outside of Cherno ready to donate a full kit before the glorious wipe for .60

I'm a big believer of the only thing early-access does well is breed a whole generation of whiners.

I'm ready for them to fix material sounds as well, I know I've scared Biohaze and Coldatrophy several times by punching objects to see if it still makes a bullet on metal ricochet sound. Most of that will be fixed in beta I guess.

My guess is that they will tone down the anti aliasing from being the full scene to just being within a few hundred meters, no 1080p and probably less of other things that makes the game look nice. But how will servers work? Will people be allowed to rent servers for consoles? Will there be mod support for consoles or are they relegated to the vanilla game? Would modding put even more of a strain on the already weak hardware? I don't really care as I am PC only these days. But, I have a handful of friends who have been silently following the development and wait with baited breath for any new infos .

I had a 3 mb update on steam. I would go look at the changelog, but that went the way of the dodo it seems.

Punches to the kidney can knock people out, so I can see fists or any other kind of swung weapon doing the same thing. If you brain anyone with a solid melee wep, it should have a good chance to kill.

Zombies will also aggro vehicles, and ignore players after they exit the vehicle. They ignore gunshots and just try to dry-hump the vehicles until you put them down.

Both cars drive well as far as im concerned, as long as wheels are in good shape. Drive up steep hills no problem etc. Trucks/bus needs some love. Be nice if we kept the crying out of this thread and maybe in stable.... where it belongs.

-newui means you can remove anything from vehicles with no tools. Old ui means you need tools and you still won't be able to remove battery and plug (unless that has been ninja patched) If someone puts a car tire on with the old UI and you use new UI you will not be able to remove said tire, only someone with old UI can and vice versa. Same thing for any items stored in vehicles. I'm still not super happy with the -newui... but the fps increase is nice.... I've also noticed reloading mags for guns may not work with old UI

I so look forward to these posts, especially since there will be umpteen more wipes, and more tears for me to drink. So salty..... so delicious..... gives me strength...

Interacting with vehicles.. you really need to use the new UI

Seems most of the vehicles have been snagged up on most 1pp servers... I know personally I've gotten a bus and sedan stuck beyond saving on Central.... kinda wish there was more to play around with. *Edit* My bus took 3 grenade tosses and looks just like new. Other than being stuck in a hellishly deep ditch. Guessing vehicles can't be 'sploded right now ?

Zombies and animals are there, they are spread out but they are there. Smaller towns may have a a few zombies in them too.

Too many suggestions and arguments last few pages. Keep that mess to the stable forums. The bulk of us are here to test, not whine or make suggestions. There are threads for that, and they get spammed often enough.
