While i was waiting for my 970 to ship I played dayz in the low .50s patch time and managed to get 20ish fps with the onboard in my I7 4770k . Kinda curious now to see how the fps (may) have improved since new renderer........

Yeah there is occasional errors in limb notifications. When in doubt morphine/splint and you will be golden.

Emuthreat and I had a short run yesterday around Zelenogorsk and Mish tent city. Tent city was quiet but we ran into a shotgun douche around Mil base at Zelen. He managed to ruin some of my gear as I took off, and Emu distracted him as I moved to position to be able to let his back eat a .308 round. Got a new jacket out of it after Emu tied him up and bandaged him. Just seconds later we took fire again, possibly from his friends. Good to know one .22 round in the dome from my amphibia was enough to send the captured guy to hell. Probably would have let him live if he talked to us, but he didn't know how to use his words. Curious to know how healthy the bad guy was, all it took was one .308 to send him to unconscious sleepytime. If a "drag unconscious douche" option was there we could have had some fun with him.

Really hoping they keep pushing player count higher. I'm loving the fact I'm seeing people everywhere.

Only true sandbox out there right now is Arma3. You load up that game with no mods no nothing and all you have is a map. Thats it. Dayz is sandboxy-ish, but it's still a game where the devs will steer it where they see fit.

3 restarts in 20 mins isn't normal.....

I7,16gb ram, SSD, OC970 and I'm getting PHENOMENAL fps pretty much everywhere. Small dips in frames but overall 100% better. Also noticed my fans aren't spooling up on the card as much, guessing it's working more efficiently now. Also noticed the weirdness with the blackhole skin textures etc too Biohaze.

970 here and I'm getting 120 in small towns and country and low 50's in bigger cities.

Server performance is top notch for me. Probably best I've seen it.

Either you loved the famine patch or hated it. While people were crying about it i was surviving, because fruit was invisible, but no one else would check in building besides look in windows. I ran around with inv window open and was a fat cat survivor. Fruit was invisible until it was picked up. Everyone else was getting shot standing in front of apple trees.
