Saying "Friendly, Friendly, Friendly" in Dayz is an over used term, it basically mean "Shoot me, Shoot me, Shoot me" any more.

Oh yea I remember when I was a friendly player many moons ago. Now I KOS and have no remorse about it. All to often I have been shot in the back, knocked out and ambushed by so call friendly players. Now with a little over 400 hours in, if the people are not in my clan, I don't take any chances gear or no gear I blow yer azz away lol. My clan guys are the only ones I protect that's just how it is. There are games that are role-playing i.e. being friendly, I don't see DayZ as one of those games. DayZ IMO is pretty much a strait up PVP game with a hint of survival and role-playing added and I don't really see the game play changing any in the near future unless the DEVs create a reason not to kill the next guy you meet. Yep unless the dynamics of the game change the need for self preservation will always exist.

In the current build cooking with the gas stove is glitched it only burns meat. Make sure to only cook over the fire for now, they mentioned that it is something they are looking at and should be fixed it in the next build.

Yea the OP misquoted it's not really a military base as we are use to seeing it's actually Balota Airfield tent area, it's now been moved west of Myshkino. There is no longer a tent area at Balota anymore :(

I was there yesterday and it was mostly food items the one weapon I found however was an SKS!

I've been using the crossbow for hunting and it's great, quite and sometimes you can even pick up your arrows. But agree for pvp it sucks.

I agree with you guys to a point. I just always think back to how many actual simulators are fun to play? Not really any when you think about it, they all eventually die so I don't think making it too hardcore and taking away from the game aspect is the answer. There has to be some fun to it as well.

all you guys wanting less ammo, more zombies and harder hunting the realists out there I can see a point where people just don't play this game anymore once it gets too real. Sometimes going too hardcore simulator can kill a game.

Well they've already made their money on the pre Alpha, no real reason to put much effort into the future. Once Rocket is gone, they'll push out a semi finished product and move on to the next project. The development has taken so long, there are many other developers working on similar games types now and will eventually get their product out either before or at the same time as DayZ. Can't wait to see DayZ 2 lol.

didn't notice any deception, he shot the zombie and you spoke to him but you didn't speak in game only in the video. He then shot you when your animation started which sometimes means someone is pulling out a pistol. Just normal stuff nothing special here.

Nope, DayZ is the ultimate Hacker/Glitcher playground right now, there is no real effective way to report anyone not to the server admin or to anyone else i.e. Battle eye or Bohima. That is why just about everyday now, I'm running into the flying dudes that shoot the crap out of you, or the guys that are on the other side of a wall and know your name and the name of your entire team when they talk to you, or the guys with 10,000 rounds of M4 ammo etc.. Just about every day this week I have run into either a Hacker or a Glitcher. It's just the way DayZ is right now. Got killed by a flying dude yesterday. Day before that it was a warper.

I don't hold up anyone, force feed or other nonsense.....but I'll shoot the crap out of anyone I run across. Too many times I have heard the words "Friendly, Friendly, Friendly" only to be shot seconds later. DayZ has changed me. Ever since my last double cross, I shoot on sight, no questions asked. I don't give a crap if you yell friendly, friendly, friendly, beginner, beginner, or the latest ploy, your making a freaking youtube video etc. I shoot and move on. Shoot, Shoot, Shoot... I kill em' all. :o) ........
