Hello Survivors on Xbox and PlayStation! We are happy to share some information on the private servers coming to your consoles soon. Private server support from our side will begin with the 1.04 update. This update was originally scheduled for the end of July, but as we had to resubmit the update, it might be delayed by a couple of days. We are well aware you can't wait to get your hands on this update and will keep you posted. However, this shouldn't stop you from preparing your start into a new game experience on private servers, as you can already pre-order your private DayZ server from our partner Nitrado. But what is a private server and what possibilities will it enable for server owners? We have compiled a FAQ for you, to answer the most pressing questions. Ask us below about any further details on the release of private servers for consoles. FAQ Q: What exactly do you mean by private servers? Like a player-made server that friends can join? A: A private server is a customised online game session. You can rent these servers from our server hosting partner Nitrado, and customise the experience to a certain extent, as we want to keep the game concept close to the Vanilla experience at the start. On this server, every player will have their unique character that they cannot transfer to a different server. Q: Will the private servers be persistent? A: Yes! You, as the server owner, can decide if you want to wipe your server or not. Q: What are the tools we get with it? A: The servers can be controlled via the Nitrado Web Interface, the smartphone App, and the Microsoft Store App (Xbox only). You will be able to control: Server name Password Time and time acceleration Maximum player count (up to 100) Which camera mode is used (1st or 3rd person) Access to the in-game logs, monitoring what's happening on your server Server messages Q: When are the servers available? Hi, actions in DayZ are specific in a way that for most actions you need to have the item you want to use in your hands, and then either have a direct action or combine the item with something in the world or your inventory. These actions should all be highlighted via the HUD in the world. Do you see those UI prompts (e.g. hold left mouse button to eat when you have an apple in hands)? If yes, pressing the left mouse button does nothing for you? Do I understand your problem correctly?

With mail correspondence with the Steam Support confirming that your account was hacked, and that the ban occurred while your account was hacked, you should be able to contact the BattlEye support to prove your innocence. Again, nobody on these forums can help you, all communications has to go through the Steam and BattlEye supports. The Steam reply that you have been banned by developers is due to them differentiating between Steam and developer bans, while our developer-side bans are handled by BattlEye. Closing the topic.

Hi, have you double-check the controls settings? We've made some minor changes to them and added voice activation, so if there are some bad default settings in here, you might not see your mic working. Keep also an eye on if you can see the microphone icon pop up or not.

The primary source for all information is our website at dayz.com, other relevant information like changelogs and server maintenance times are posted here. If you are asking for hints when the roadmap will be dropped, then I'm sorry to tell you that we do not consider this prime information that has to be shared across all of our public channels, even if it seems to be enough for some websites to write an article about it. In 2021 we released it in March, and we hope to have it earlier this time.

RP servers are community servers, where admins probably try to enforce rules encouraging RP. Depending on their vision, RP can be very different from server to server. Some like it very strict, some take it very loosely, but I guess it's a good server to look at when you want to avoid being shot on sight and maybe enjoy playing a character. What you are probably looking for are more hardcore RP servers, if you actually want to live in a city. You can use the search function in the server brwoser for roleplay, RP or hardcore RP/roleplay, or maybe even google, some of the larger one have websites.

There is not. In general, transfer of storages and other files between private servers is possible (assuming similar configuration, Experimental/Stable does not make a real difference here).

Let me just give a quick warning here that spreading uninformed claims and misinformation is against our guidelines for behavior on these forums. As BattlEye is a 3rd party provider, and security in general is a sensitive topic, we are not discussing ban methods publicly.

Hi, we are aware of these crashes and looking into them. Sadly it's a tough crash to reproduce, so if you see any reoccurring patterns for the crash, feel free to let us know.

Then you might need to try deleting the "event" files in you storage, this should reset the weather settings.

Can you try setting "weather reset" to 1?
