I used to gut them with the machete as well on the experimental, but for some reason it does not work on the stable right now :(

I guess I now have to run into a city and find one of those...still is weird I can't cut open a dead animal with a hatchet or a bayonet (which is pretty much a knife)

So today I killed a Deer, because I was hungry and when I tried to gut it...I couldn't. I tried with my axe, I tried with my saw, I tried with my can opener, I tries with my bayonet, I tried with my machete. NOTHING worked! So my question is...What in the name of beans do I need to gut a fucking dead animal? The poor bastard died in vain! :'( I feel so guilty

Well, the way WarZ or H1Z1 did/want to do this...is shit, that's why we don't have something like this. But Dean reacted really positive to my idea of creating clans in a similar way we did in Lineage II...so yes, we're going to have clans eventually I mean...is a zombie survival game, of course we must team up PS: In case we don't get a clan feature (which I doubt) then they must give a really big personalization to every character (like EVE online) -
I think that we do need some kind of base/camp/safehous/outpost...I mean, we are fighting the undead and trying to survive...we're gonna have to eventually fight, and having a place where to store some of the loot (which is one of the main game's features) to gather and arm ourselves and our groups. But definetively it cannot be permanent, I think you're looking for other games mate. Everything we make and build in game must be able to be stolen/destroyed IE: creating a few wooden walls and a fireplace with a tent, being able to sotre things inside the tent. But somebody could break in and destroy your camp or steal your loot
