Do different servers have different loot setting? I feel like every server I go to, even barely populated one, barely have anything at all. Are there any servers that are better than most?

Wait. I haven't even seen the civilian ones in the game! Have I missed them?

Anyone have any idea why there are books EVERYWHERE!? I've been keeping the New Testament on me for good luck......unfortunately it works as well as a real one.......

But why books? If you're going to make them loot why not everything? Hey, look, I found some tampons and and a Huey Lewis CD! It just doesn't make sense

I killed a school house full of children for mine

My first encounter was with a female survivor who was armed to the teeth and smoked the entire zombie train I pulled into town. Without saying a word she gave me a box of ammo for my mosin and left.....I later died from starvation with a backpack full of canned goods I could't open because I couldn't loot a damned ax. My second encounter I met two other fresh spawns, waved, they waved back so I thought it was okay to turn my back on them to drink from the well. Unfortunately, while my back was turned, one of them macheted me to pieces for my rain coat. My last encounter I've only been able to loot a child's baby blue back pack and a construction helmet. I fell off a ladder and injured myself somehow. Now picture this: a grown man crawling around a zombie infested city with a child's back pack and dressed like a member of the Village People! This game has made me want to punch the monitor, laugh and paranoid at every turn. Bravo, gentlemen. Loving this game so far and I'm really looking forward to the polished, finished product.

SO I guess when you're not playing Dayz you're out clubbing baby seals?

I like the map STRICTLY for the minimal amount of orientation it gives. What I really want to do is bitch slap the Ruskie that was in charge of direction signs. Some of them just point in a general direction with NO streets nearby. "Hey, Ivan, you want to go there? Just run through the woods like a good RUssian Hansel and Gretl."

So, my Steam account name is Piggypotpie, but when I play the game it AUTOMATICALLY lists my entire legal name which give me the creeps. Anyone know how to fix this?
