  1. What I don't understand is this following thingy: In the feedback tracker, I cannot reply because somehow it's locked. I can't create an account. I noticed this item was supposed to be fixed: http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view.php?id=15555 Well, I got some news: it's not. The other day I got attacked by a bunch of zombies. And as a player you are just helpless. They seemed to be faster at running than the player, and even they had their back turned to me (so I was behind them, when the hitting animation was playing) and they still got me. Hitting them with a axe is useless. There is no easy way to hit them properly. I can take 1 or 2, maybe 3. But 6 is just not doable, it's too buggy. Skill is not even an issue here. The only skill you can use is watching your character slash THROUGH the zombies, without doing damage and getting ripped to pieces, even when you're not in proximity. Now that hackers are being less frequent, this really needs to be addressed. The zombies are just not fun.. it has nothing to do with looking for easy gameplay - it's just the A.I. sucks. From that point of view I like the zombies in Breaking Point much better. I dont understand why we can't have that behaviour, in combination with the looting system of the SA.

Transportation Suggestion(not a car or bike!)

So I have posted this earlier too. Its a perfect getaway. My topic got locked with a smug reply from the admin, that my topic did not add any value. Hence they failed to notice the countless suggestions on this topic and include this with the 'existing /suggestions / topics' in the pinned topics... http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/178858-train-vehicle/

    Zombie Hordes Maybe?

That would actually be nice. Then you can finally know which direction to look for the crash site.

    Train Vehicle

So I was actually talking to my gf the other day about the development of the game and the idea behind this Alpha versions. So eventually she came up with the coolest ideas I think would definitely give a unique experience in the game. I came across a big train in the map, which was pretty awesome, but would be even more awesome if it would work - with assemblance of items (just like cars). So this is pretty cool idea, but will give many difficulties. So instead it would be awesome if you would add a handcar: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Handcar Multiple persons railing on the track: vulnerable for ambushes but much faster. Other gangs could use the track to sideline a handcar and ambush the people when they run through town. Let me know what you think!

    New player communication

I have been exploring the map for some time now, and I must say even with 40 people in a server.. I haven't met anyone for days now. So I start wondering where everybody might be. These are the times that I miss the (very unrealistic) chat window, just to say "Hi World..." or whatever... So I have been thinking about realistic solution, that you see more often: self-build communication devices, like they use in Syria. The total absence of mobile telephones is not very realistic, because even in the most remote places in Afrika, they now have mobile connectivity. I understand all major providers are offline, but modern innovation make it quite easy to set up a local wi-fi connection. So what do guys think about adding items to combine for a stronger communication device? So you are enabled to tap in on a unified (text or voice) communication system, within a certain range of set-up. Car-battery, laptop, antenna, cell-phone and you're set for broadcast. Anyone with a cell + battery can tap in. Others can destroy the equipment to their advantage. So there is also a risk. Have a little more McGyver-gadgets, like making a bicycle out of gum and a paperclip ;)
  6. You can exploit by getting another copy.. so the argument about playing fair and exploits is simply BS. Perhaps it would be different if you would choose a different map. Shame you only want to exploit, bcuz - again - it's more about switching experience, rather than gaining superior objects..
  7. The point of my post is that I want to switch between "my" stories.. instead of buying another copy to be able to do so... m8
  8. Multiple characters would work for me.. it would make it easier to switch between gameplay. With one character I want to become that great single warrior. But sometimes it is just fun to look for people and approach. Now there is no option.. which takes away a great aspect of the game, and I am doomed to avoid and hide from other players. because they might kill you just for fun.. just because some a-hole found a weapon.. now the only solution is to buy another copy.. so people with extra money can play whatever they want..

    Saving Gear: welcoming solution

The ground of course is 'molled-up'... stirred up.. or whatever you call it.. I understand that in real-life you can not simply know where exact you previous character has burried some items.. but frankly when I think about it: you start your game in the madness in the middle of nowhere.. so there is a lot of assumptions. So looking at the story-line or experience, I'd say you could make an assumption on how your 'new' character knows where to look... it may have been a friend who told him/her. Of course others could be at the site when entering the server, so there is of course a risk that another player came by, saw the ground and burried it up.

    Saving Gear: welcoming solution

Hi, I've been playing this awesome game for some time, and I have come with a solution that is (I think) a great addition to this survival gameplay: Very frustrating is it, when you try to stay alive but because of some mistake you loose everything.. Example: Though I am always friendly I have been killed many times just because I wanted to make contact. Now that I have a great kit, I do not want to interact because of the risk of loosing it all. But, this takes away a great aspect of the game. So how would you grant players the possibility to regain their kit faster and more conventient: like real survival - you can bury things! So the idea is to give more attention to containers (bags, backpacks, military containers/ boxes) which are needed to bury items (gear) in the ground. You can fill these with items you want to save and bury it on any location. You will have to remember the exact location by the landmarks, since only people with a map and a pen can mark it 'X'. From where-ever you're spawned: you need to reach that exact point. So it also brings a mission to the gameplay. Bury things with bare hands will take you 1 or 2 minutes, but I've seen a shovel: so with this it should be done in 20 seconds. Of course you can use different items, with different shovel qualities. After you die, this container will remain in the ground for a certain period of time (depending on quality of container) and is connected to the player and not character. But as longs as the player is in the server, other players should be able to dig it up... when they see someone bury things somewhere, they should be able to wait and get the score or attack during action. Please, let me know what you think :)
